Let Me Go Chapter 10
Matryo's Note: Starting today, my updates will all be done on a phone. Without spellcheck. Shoot.
Also, you know a chapter's going to be good when it starts with an OOC warning... So yes. Slight OOC on Kiku's part because I'm having troubles writing his way of reaction..
I'm open to advice and changes on how he should react, so if you can tell me tips, that would be great..

"Get the fuck off of him!"

Katie had her fist held up high, ready to bash it through the Japanese man's face straight through. Tears were trickling down her cheeks, Lovino and Feliciano were ready to break the two apart had Feliciano not been to flabbergasted to move.

"Katrina-san, please-"

"Katrina, let go!" Ludwig tried to pull Katie off of Kiku, but her grip on his collar was deadly tight. So much for a quick, blissful outdoor breeze.

"LIKE FUCKING HELL I WILL!"

She couldn't do it. She couldn't fucking do it.

Why? That's what she wanted to goddamn know.

It wasn't the thought of inflicting physical pain onto someone, nor was it the fear of the consequences that followed; it was the thought of would her actions be worth the relief she'll feel once her fist hits his goddamn face. She couldn't forget that they're under control. They know the place all the way to China, and what did she uncover during her one week stay?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Antagonizing one of them would be antagonizing all of them. They were in no obligation to be kind to her. There wasn't an almighty force telling them to treat her well. No.
But did she care? Would she rather take in this one moment of control over the situation she was blessed with to throw one punch that will or will not matter?

Silence, and all she could do was contemplate over hitting him while the other three tried to pry her off their comrade.

"Let go off him, ragazza!"

"HITTING HIM WON'T DO ANYTHING GOOD!!"

She's made her choice. Katie paused and let go of Kiku, who watched her with a somewhat pitiful expression. He didn't look partly mad or fazed by it; he just stared at her leave with furrowed eyebrows and a pair of brown, narrowed eyes. Disappointed was the word.

"Sorry about that." Was all she said before lowering her head in shame and turning her back on all of them, walking away from the scene. She could barely hear their whispers as her pace quickened. She felt like a failure. She felt like she didn't fulllfil the one job the universe had given her.

Fucking damn it, Robins. You're a fucking coward, you know that, right?

Not even two meters away from them, she hears someone go, in a really soft tone, "Please forgive my lack of actions; with her current lack of strength, I figured she wouldn't be able to stand if I've done something-"
