"Pasaway ka rin e, 'no?"

"Oh God!" My eyes widened. Nasapo ko ang dibdib ko sa gulat nang may biglang mag salita matapos kong isara ang pinto ng bathroom. I just took a shower- not really a shower because what they have here are pale and dippers, which sucks dahil paulit ulit ang pag kuha ko ng tubig- and I thanked the heavens dahil naisipan kong sa loob na mag bihis. Wala manlang blower dito! And the clothes I have- my gosh! Ang papangit ng design! Halatang mumurahin!

I glared at Fade. "Ba't ka ba nang gugulat?!" I rolled my eyes and looked at the cheap-ass wall clock. It's currently 9:30 pm at kaming dalawa lang ang narito.

Disgrasya went to the wet market to fetch Aling Gina. The reason pala why she's not here awhile ago is because she's selling vegetables at the night market from 3 pm to 10 pm. I got here at around 5 pm kaya hindi ko siya naabutan. Fade right here went out of the house for whatever reason after going to the bathroom. Hindi na nabanggit ni Disgrasya kung bakit. Not that I care. I just thought I'm the only person left here that's why hearing someone else's voice shocked the hell out of me.

"Hindi ba't sinabi kong ikaw ang mag hugas ng pinggan?" His brow shot up. Seriously. This guy is so freaking grumpy. "Bakit si Grasya ang naabutan ko kaninang naghuhugas?"

Huh. It seems like he's been here for a couple of minutes now at naabutan niya pa si Disgrasyang nag huhugas. She just went out a few minutes ago, so maybe nag-abot sila. And what, did he really think I'd wash the freaking dishes? Duh. After hearing him curse like that? At isa pa, nanay ko nga never akong na-convince to do any household chores, siya pa kaya ang susundin ko?

Namewang ako. "Did you seriously expect me to wash the dishes because news flash, I am Farrah Audrianna Ravenna and my delicate skin," I touched my right hand using the other at marahang nag lakbay ang haplos na 'yon pataas, showing how smooth and bouncy my skin is. "does not recognize domestic work."

His brows furrowed. "Hindi ka na si Farrah Audrianna Ravenna ngayon, simpleng Farrah Chua nalang ang dapat nilang pagkakakilala sa'yo so your delicate skin," He mocked my voice. This jerk. "better be used to domestic work."

"Sorry to break it upon you but in my school records, I'm still me." Naiinis kong sabi.

"Sure. Pero walang pwedeng maka-alam n'on. Kaya si Farrah Chua ka lang sa loob at labas ng classroom." He stood up and went near me. I don't know why but I kinda felt the need to step backwards a little. I felt the door behind my back as he towered over me.

I realized that this guy is tall. I am 5'5 and that's pretty tall for a girl my age but he looks over 6 foot.

"What the hell are you doing?! Lumayo ka nga!"

"Uulitin ko, nandito ka sa pamamahay ko. Nakikitira ka lang kaya matuto kang makisama." His voice, whole and low. "Parte n'on ang pag gawa ng gawaing-bahay. O kung hindi ka pa rin makumbinsi, isipin mo nalang ang allowance mo na nasa mga kamay ko." He smirked.

Masamang-masama ang tingin ko sakanya. "How dare you threaten me-"

"Andito na kami!"

Fade smoothly removed himself from the position before Disgrasya and Aling Gina went in. I am still glaring at him, my eyes never leaving his presence. Kasalukuyan niyang sinalubong ang mag-tiya para tulungan ang mga ito sa mga bitbit.

Kinuha niya ang kamay ni Aling Gina at nag mano. I crossed my arms. "Two-faced jerk." I murmured.
"What?" I asked, irritated by the way he's staring at me now.

"Magmano ka kay nanay." Mataman nitong sabi. Nakipagtitigan lang ako sakanya.

Hindi ako sanay mag mano, I wanted to say. But his eyes are telling me that one of us should give this up and that's not him. Pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata. "Fine." Naglakad ako palapit kay Aling Gina at kinuha ang kamay nito upang magmano.
