Freaking Perfect [ON-GOING]

Prologue

"Madame, the meeting about the incident in Bulacan Residences will start in 15 minutes." I heared Sienna, my secretary say.

I finished putting on my Chanel étoile Filante Hoop Earrings. "Do I look as gorgeous or did I just reach another limit?" I asked her as I take another look using my Gucci Premiere Gold Compact Mirror.

"Another level unlocked, Madame." She giggled. "Uhh, about the meeting po pala, here are the names of the concerned persons-in-charge to be sent by Salcedo Construction Firm."

I took the folder and my eyes widened as I scanned the names. "Why the fuck is Attorney Farren Ade Hidalgo here?!"

"Uhm... he was introduced last week as their new Legal Manager, Madame. Although he was not physically there, Engineer Salcedo mentioned about him."

I took a deep breath because I am seriously panicking. Of course I am panicking! It's been what, three years? At bigla ko nalang malalaman na makikita... at makakasama ko pa siya sa board room?!

"And I didn't know this because...?!" The idea of working with him horrified the hell out of me.

Sienna scratched her head, "Well, ma'am, I believe you were kinda... uhh... busy with Mr. Velasco at that time so..."

Nasapo ko ang noo nang maalala ang little fight na naganap samin ni Nathan sa board room ng SCF last week.

"So is he gonna be there later?" I massaged my temples and looked at my outfit. I'm currently wearing my Dolce & Gabbana Roll Neck Knitted Top and Fendi Wrap Mini Skirt topped with my Natural Dior Peacoat. I also wore my black Prada stilettos and tied my hair in a bun with a few strands falling at the sides of my face. Over all, I look pretty normal, gone is the overflowing confidence I'm having just a few minutes ago.

"Yes madam. SCF confirmed that everyone in the list will attend."

"Shit. Do I have other clothes in my closet here?" Sienna shook her head indicating that the ones I have were already worn once.

"How about the latest collection that I ordered from Yves Saint Laurent?"

"It will arrive later afternoon, ma'am."

"The one from Dior?"

"Tomorrow morning daw po."

I sighed exaggeratedly. She noticed my dilemma and she bent her neck slightly, wondering what the hell is wrong with me. "Is there anything wrong madam? You look really good in your outfit."

"Nothing," I sighed again. I just decided to retouch my make up crossing my fingers to look as amazing as possible.

"Meeting will start in five ma'am, shall we proceed po?"

I nodded and decided to just go with it. I've been preparing for this day to come. Kahit anong paghahanda ang gawin ko, I will never be prepared enough to face him again. Tumakbo man ako ngayon, I can never avoid him for the rest of my life.

But then I never thought it's gonna be this early! Ang alam ko ay nasa Canada pa siya. I wasn't informed na umuwi na siya dito sa Pilipinas. Kelan pa kaya siya umuwi? Bakit hindi ko alam- well, It's not at all my right to know but still!

"Good noon everyone." I quickly surveyed the room trying to see where he's seated in the most discreet way possible.

"Good noon, Ms. Ravenna." Everyone greeted but my eyes are fixed to the gorgeous man at the left side, beside the opposite end of the table which is across my seat.

"Shall we start?" I asked, not taking my eyes off him.

He looked... heavenly good. Mas nag mature ang facial features niya. He's gotten fairer, probably due to the fact that he's no longer out in the sun for work. He also looked more snobbish, something that isn't new to me, it's just that it is now too... intense. His serious aura is dominating.

"And now, may we have Mr. Hidalgo to brief us about the incident."

Fade confidently stood up and walked in front. He started speaking and though mesmerized by the way he talks, hindi nakaligtas sa akin ang iba pang mga babae sa board room na kapareho ko ng reaksiyon. Why, of course, he's still very much appealing. Hindi na ako nagtataka na hindi iyon nag bago at tila mas tumindi pa ata because I can even see some of the older women board members swooning over him.

"Ms. Ravenna?" I was snapped out of my reverie with his deep, commanding voice.

Napatingin ako sa paligid only to know that all of them are waiting for me to get the hell out of my daydream.

"Y-yes?"

His brows furrowed, probably wondering why the fuck I am stammering. God I don't know din, okay!

"I was asking if you could forward me your company's inputs about the investigation, but it seems like your mind is elsewhere." He said with a blank face. There's a lot of things going on in his voice, but I could probably name indifference, sarcasm and annoyance.

The people in the room probably thought of it as a joke, the reason why almost everyone chuckled.

"Well, of course Mr. Hidalgo. You can proceed to my office immediately after this. Meeting adjourned." I announced too smoothly it sounded too fake even to my own ears. This is fucking embarrassing!

I waited for everyone to get out of the room but the brute is just too much of an attraction that a lot of the women population initiated a discussion with him. He glanced my direction just as I was looking at my Rolex Lady Datejust 31 Pink Diamond Dial Stainless Steel Oyster Bracelet Watch, pretending to be too impatient to wait for him and his flock of women.

"Please excuse me, I'll have to discuss something with Miss Ravenna." He looked at me and I immediately walked towards the door, hindi nakaligtas sakin ang iilang pahabol ng mga babae, informing him how to contact them.

Pinauna niya akong makalabas at pagkatapos ay kasunod kong naglakad papunta sa opisina. I secretly took a long, deep breath, praying for my heart to stop throbbing so fast and loud it could probably fall on the floor.

For the love of God, please Farrah stop doing anything stupid!

Stop giving him the idea that you're still affected. Stop showing him that you're still the old you! That you still love him!

Because nothing has changed. It's still the same way. It's still the same situation.
