Alia's POV

I wake up to the song Paper Rings, by Taylor Swift, blasting out as my alarm. The sunlight seeps through the folds of the blinds, on this bright Saturday morning and my blanket's all tangled up around me. How does this even happen?!
It's already 10:32 and I'm still so tired.
I reach over and put off my alarm and untangle myself, before going to the bathroom to brush my teeth and all that.

Once I'm done, I go back to my room and grab my phone, and (don't judge) I check Tom's Instagram for the first time today, seeing if he put up a story or posted a picture or video. And after that, I check out the Brothers Trust Fund account. (I know what you guys are thinking. To which I respond Shut up) I make my way downstairs.

Eliott's over again, with another bowl of cereal in his hands. It makes me wonder why don't we go over to his apartment more often and eat his food. Then again I think the only reason he's here, is because there's probably no more left in his fridge.

Anyway.

-"Sleeping Beauty's finally awake." Jazmin teases.
"Well good morning to you too."
--"Morning? It's basically lunch time, Lia!" Eliott says between bites, as he walks out from the kitchen and sits down next to Jazmin.
"Why are you here again, Hart?"
Eliott's hand (the one that's not holding his bowl) lands on his chest, faking a hurt expression before making a silly face at me.

--"Someone's cranky." He whispers to Jaz, though I hear it and throw him daggers with my eyes.
"I'm gonna get breakfast."

One of the good things about having Eliott over though is he makes the best meals ever and he always makes enough for all three of us. And this time it was some pancakes. I see the stack of them on the counter, along with two dirty dishes. They must have had breakfast together. I go back to the lounge and take a seat next to Eliott. He puts his arms around me and Jaz, with her snuggling him. I just eat.
--"You guys are coming for the game tomorrow, right?" He turns his attention to Jaz.
-"Yeah, yeah. It's Liverpool and Man City." Jaz states and he nods.
"Hope you guys lose."
-"Oh of course they will! It's City we're talking about. Liverpool doesn't have a chance..." Jaz smirks, knowing she's triggering Eliott. I'm laughing to my pancakes. Its funny seeing him all worked up.
--" If anything City doesn't have a chance against us! Especially, coz I'm playing. We're at the top of the log right now, and 6 points clear! We didn't win the league last season but we're definitely going for the trophy this season." He crosses his arms across his chest and his jaw clenches and his veins are popping.
"Calm down, El, she was just kidding!"
He's really mad.
"Come on, El. I'm gonna be rooting for you this time. Chill." I try to calm him down. He looks at me and smiles and then turns to Jaz whose already looking at him.
-"I was just kidding, El." She puts her hand on his shoulder. Her voice is low and reassuring. -"You know I'm gonna be sitting there on the Liverpool stands, right at the front, cheering you on. Just try not to get too distracted and end up scoring an own goal, doofus." She calms him down. And, damn it's awkward. She's giggling, he's blushing, and I'm goddamn gagging.

"Cut it out, would ya, lovebirds? I'm tryna eat here." I say. Ha! Good one, Alia.

They sit properly again- facing the TV- and there's a piercing silence that fills the room.

-"Oh, and Eliott?" He looks at her. -"Don't worry. Even when City wins, we can still be friends."

"Jazmin!" The two of us laugh, and Eliott is mad again.
