Training Grounds
Nuffink and Kirk are fighting. Nuffink has a short sword and shield and Kirk has an axe. After lots of tumbling and scrimmaging, Nuffink gains the upper hand and pins Kirk to the ground.
ASTRID: Good job you two! All right- Erika, Zephyr, you're up!
Erika and Zephyr stand up from the benches. Zephyr pulls out her axe and Erika does the same. The two circle each other slowly. Erika makes the first move. She lunges at Zephyr, but her attack is deflected. The two girls engage in intense combat. Erika swings her axe down low, but Zephyr jumps over it. She loses her balance and falls to the ground. Erika gets ready to pin her down, but Zephyr rolls out of the way and quickly gets up. She knocks Erika down and pins her to the ground.
NUFFINK: Yes!
OLLIE: All right!
Zephyr looks up at the training grounds visitors section. Hiccup is nowhere to be seen. Zephyr sighs, but helps Erika up.
ASTRID: Good job both of you, that's it for today! Clear the weaponry!
The kids put the weapons on the wall. Nuffink, Kirk, and Ollie walk up to Zephyr.
OLLIE: Nice job Zephyr, you totally crushed Erika!
ERIKA: (scoffs) Whatever, I was pretty close.
Ollie, Kirk, and Erika start to walk away.
KIRK: Face it Erika, Zephyr will always beat you.
NUFFINK: (to Zephyr) He didn't come?
Zephyr shakes her head.
NUFFINK: Well, maybe he'll come next time.
ZEPHYR: No, I have to face it. He's never gonna come.
