Forest
Zephyr is walking in the forest while reading one of Hiccup's notebooks.
ZEPHYR: (reading) Training a Night Fury is very difficult. Getting close enough to a Night Fury is hard enough because they are very wary of humans and usually fly away at the sight of them.
Zephyr looks up from the book.
ZEPHYR: But I got pretty close to it and it didn't fly away.
Zephyr shrugs her shoulders and continues reading aloud.
ZEPHYR: One way to get close to a Night Fury is to offer it food and show it that you have no weapons.
Zephyr looks up again.
ZEPHYR: I wonder what Night Furies like to eat?
Zephyr hears snoring. She puts the notebook in her knapsack and carefully creeps forward. She almost falls down the hole again but stops herself. The hole has been covered with leaves again.
Zephyr grabs rope from her knapsack and ties one end around a tree. She ties the other end to a rock and slowly lowers the rock down the hole. Once the rock is at the bottom, Zephyr carefully slides down the rope. She lands. She looks around carefully and then suddenly she bumps into the dragon. It is sleeping. Zephyr gasps. She steps to the side, trying to get away but accidentally steps on the dragon's tail. The dragon jolts awake and snaps it's head around to look back at Zephyr. Zephyr cowers in fear. The dragon stands up and turns to face Zephyr. Zephyr suddenly comes to her senses and strips off her weapons.
ZEPHYR: Hey, hey, hey I'm not gonna hurt you.
She dumps her arm cuffs onto the ground. The dragon growls. Zephyr sighs.
ZEPHYR: Fine, okay.
She removes her emergency dagger, tossing it into the pile. The dragon eyes her suspiciously. Zephyr slowly reaches into her knapsack and pulls out an apple. She reaches out her hand and lets the dragon sniff it.
ZEPHYR: There now, I'm not so bad right? Do you like fruit?
The dragon takes a tiny bite. It sits back and munches it for a little bit. The dragon makes a disgusted face and spits the apple onto the ground.
ZEPHYR: Not a vegetarian are you? Me neither.
The dragon growls at the partly chewed apple.
ZEPHYR: (nervously) Uhh, don't worry! I have, umm, some.... (pulls out some dried fish) Ewwww....
The dragon's eyes widen, it's mouth starts to water.
ZEPHYR: Uhhh, you like fish? Here. (throws the fish towards the dragon)
The dragon gobbles it up ferociously.
ZEPHYR: Well, I guess you like fish.
Zephyr walks a little closer. The dragon tilts it's head in curiosity.
Zephyr holds out her hand towards the dragon. The dragon growls and turns away. The dragon's tail knocks Zephyr backward. She sighs.
