My ears rang and spots danced in my eyes. Where am I? Blurry cement walls were wrapped around the cold room. The wooden floorboards were caked with dirt and blood. Carter! I tried to move, but my arm was tied to pipe. Wake up Spencer! I scream in my head. I blink a bit, and shake my head as if it would clear my head.
"Spencer." she croaked. I saw her.
"Oh my gosh." I remind myself to breathe. My eyes began to water. She was so dirty and bloody and pained. Her green eyes were bloodshot and cherry lips pale, and her pale skin a new fair shade. Her thick hair was stuck to her face due to a mixture of blood, sweat, and tears.
"Spen-cer. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry."
"What do you mean you're sorry? This is all my fault. I screwed up."
"No, no. Please, just stay with me."
"It isn't really like I can leave." I tried for a smile.
She extended a free hand, and so did I. We grasped hands for what seemed like an eternity.
"That was crazy. You don't know disappointment until your knight in shining badge collapses in front of your very own eyes." She muttered. My face was burning. "Oh, that's not what I meant." she continued.

"You touch her and I swear I- I-"
"You'll what? Kill me? Not likely."
"Just please, don't do this. I'll give you whatever you want."
"I'm fine Spence." She lied, eyes clenched tightly.
"D-don't lie." I stuttered.
"I mean, it wouldn't be the first time, or even by him."
"That doesn't make it okay, or make you fine-"
"ENOUGH! So... anything?"
"Anything."
"Alright. I want you to call your little BAU looser friends and speak them your 'suicide' note... Convincingly- no tricks, no games or cons. Just tell them you're going to commit suicide. And I'll leave her."
"How can I trust someone like you. You're a liar, you a dark creature."
"Do you have a choice?"
"Alright... Fine."
