A/N: Hi guys! I know this is a day late because I'm a terrible person. I had this written up and everything but in the excitement of Christmas forgot to post it, and I swear if I get any complains, I will slit your throat :D Hope you guys had an awesome day yesterday. Feel free to tell me what you got(: Also, thanks to my friend katy-kat97 who really had the original idea for fanfic Christmas one shots. ("THANKS KATY!" ;)

"Honey I'm home!" A voice called from across the house. I felt my heart leap into my throat. I hopped off the couch and flew the direction of the sound. I was so happy I could almost cry when I saw him. He wrapped his strong arms around me making me melt. I missed him so much. My head still tucked in his chest I whispered to him.

"Spencer."
"That's me."
"I was afraid that you wouldn't be home in time for Christmas. I mean it's Christmas Eve and all but-"
"Oh there's no place like home for the holidays, no matter how far away you roam." He sung off key. I laughed.
"Don't do that again."
"Okay. Anyways, I missed you." He said, planting his lips on mine.

Even after 5 years my insides feel like they're on fire when I kiss him as if his lips set them aflame. I run a hand through his hair and he touches my waist as if to steady himself. We separate eventually.

"I'll bet you also missed your baby girl."
"Oh yes I did." He smiled.
I took his hand and dragged him to the living room where Emma was now sound asleep. With her chestnut colored curls and warm brown eyes, she looked just like Spencer. He leaned over, arms cradled and picked up the petite one year old. It took me a little while to agree to one, but he wanted one so bad. I'm glad he talked me into her now

"Hi Emma, Daddy missed you. You've gotten so big." He whispered softly.
He sat down on the couch probably exhausted. I turned on the fire place and headed to the kitchen. I made two cups of hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallow. He smiled when I returned. We turned on a Christmas movie and dimmed the lights.

It was great. Sipping hot chocolate by the fire with two people I care about most in this world. It made me think of all the things I have and I'm so grateful. I have an amazing husband, a beautiful daughter, supportive friends, a nice home, a great job, a wide world, and endless doors of opportunity. My life isn't perfect, but there are so many things I have to be thankful for.

"Merry Christmas Carter."
"Merry Christmas Spencer."
