"So, the princess of the pumpkin patch is awake, finally." He teased.
"Hey, you're not looking so much better yourself." I retorted.
"Guess so."
"How did they put you in that wheelchair? Strap you down and offer you a book on physics?"
"No. Apparently, I'm in a state of fatigue and it would be 'dangerous' not to use one."
"C'mere."
"I missed you so much."
"You missed me? We've been together the past day."
"You know what I mean. Really being together."
"Me too.
"Did you know statistically speaking couples who-" I cut him off by placing a kiss over his moving lips, which shut him up quickly. The kiss was returned, and it was magical. I know it's a bit cliche but there are no other words to describe it. You feel like your heart is going to explode, your mind is going hazy, and warmth spreads across your whole body, and you know you are completely in love with them. I was forced to pull away for air. There was a loud whoop from outside the hallway, and I realized that the curtains on the window weren't pulled, and Spencer's team had just seen the whole thing. Morgan flashed Spencer a thumbs up and grinned. The others were trying not to smile. The back of my neck burned. I don't care. I'll sing it from the rooftops and yell it from the sewer.
"I am in love with Doctor Spencer Reid!" I decided, and we leaned in for another spark sizzling, magical kiss.
