Stupid missing persons papers. I hate it. I want to be out there looking for her. I want to find her. I feel so helpless. My head hurt, and my heart hurt worse. I hate what this feels like. I excused myself to pop my head in on Gracia, about to ask her something, and still I felt like I was being punched in the stomach, seeing Carter's happy face on the computer screen, dimples and green eyes that crinkled when she smiled, an endearing feature. My heart plummeted into my feet. Garcia whipped her head around.
"Oh Spencer, I'm-"
She said quickly shutting the monitor off.
"Yeah, sorry just shaken. Can't hold still."
"I understand."
I left in a hurry, where I sat at my desk as I fidgeted my fingers. Shifting my weight from foot to foot, paced and played with the straps on my bag, anything to keep me in motion
"I can't think straight!"
"Hey man, we're gonna find her, you just need to calm down." Morgan sighed.
"I know." I said weakly.
"I just want Carter back." I whispered so quietly nobody else but heard it but me.
