I'm still convinced that my "heaven" experience was a hallucination. After all the brain still has roughly 7 minutes of activity after death. I was letting my mind wander- which in a way was dangerous - when I heard sirens.
My heart leaped into my chest. We've been found! I couldn't believe it. Carter's eyes were as big as saucers.
"We're saved!" She cried. "We need to scream to get their attention."
So we began to scream and yell and holler and wail until our throats were raw. Justin sauntered into the room, flashing us a wily grin.
"They can't hear you. Sound proof walls and doors. Genius huh? Also, the cellar do is buried in 3 feet of snow. By the way, Merry Christmas! It's 2:36! Listen, your little team is close, and they don't know we're even here." I could hear muffled and faded voices in the background. That was the worst part about sound proof things. They can't hear me, but I can hear them.
"His car isn't here." Hotch sighed.
"Yeah, but he has to be here somewhere! We can't just wait around for him to come walk out like 'Hey! Wassup?' ." Morgan shouted worry and concern filling his voice. What are they talking about? Justin mouthed yes, and pumped his fists. Okay, weird.
"Calm down Morgan! Panicking isn't helping any of us find Reid! So everyone just needs to calm down." Hotch said, voice dripping with emotion and worry which was rare.
"Prentiss! Anything?" J.J exclaimed.
"No. We checked the entire premise." Prentiss mumbled.
"Damn it. They must not be here." Derek raised his voice.
"We need to find them soon!" Rossi finally spoke up.
"I think we should move on." J.J decided.
My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach. No, I'm right here right no w just a few feet away from you and I'm alive and so is Carter so PLEASE open those doors!
"Wait a sec- do you see that rust peeking through the snow?" Rossi asked, suddenly curious.
"WE NEED SOME DOGS OVER HERE!" Hotch screamed as all 5 of them dropped to their knees and began to dig.
We were being saved.
