In the past two years we've traveled all over the country and gone to many competitions. A lot of wins and loses.
Present Day
Jess's POV
Today's the day I'm going to propose to Caitlynn. I've got everything planned out. She is with her best friend Airiel shopping for her outfit to go on our dinner at The Capital Grille. Before we go to dinner, we are going down to the ball room of the Castle Hotel, Autograph Collection that we are staying at and I have it all set up with candles and rose petals and I'm going to propose then we'll go to dinner and both of our families are going to be there to celebrate with us. They think we're just having a huge fancy family dinner.
Caitlynn's POV
I am shopping for a dress, shoes, and purse for my dinner with Jess, along with my best friend Airiel. We've been to multiple stores and we've finally decided on a beautiful black dress with lace trimming with thick sleeveless straps, red leather jacket, and red pumps.

We go back to Airiel's place here in Orlando. She's going to do my hair and my makeup. I change into my silk lace trimmed robe so, Airiel can do my hair and makeup. It takes five hours to do everything.

I get dressed and we head to what I thought was the restaurant but she pulls up to the Castle Hotel that we've been staying at for the past couple of days. I look at her and she says "go into the ballroom." "Why?" I ask. She doesn't say anything she just looks at me. So I get out of the car and I head I to the ballroom. I walk into the ballroom and all of the lights are off just candles lighting the whole room. I look around the room and I notice that on the walls are pictures from when we were babies to toddler to kids to teens to now. I walk around looking at all of the pictures and remembering every one of them. I look into the middle of the room and standing in a heart made out of rose petals is Jess. I walk over to him. "May I have this dance" Jess asks. I look at him confused and Perfect by Ed Sheeran starts playing. Jess grabs my hand and puts his other arm around my waist as I take hold of his hand, placing my other hand on his bicep and laying my head on his shoulder as we slow dance to our song. As the song ends Jess backs away from me and kneels on one knee as I put my hand over my mouth. "Caitlynn we've known each other for years. Having you by my side these past couple of years has been the best decision I ever made. You understand me better than anyone has ever. You are by my side taking care of me when I get hurt after a ride. You are there beside me when I win. You've stood by my side for the past two years and I couldn't be more grateful." He pulls out a black velvet box and opens it and it's the most beautiful diamond ring I've ever seen. "Caitlynn Elizabeth Ward will you make me the happiest guy in the world and become Mrs. Jess Lockwood?" I am speechless. I can't even speak as tears of happiness roll down my face. I nod my head yes. "Yes?" Jess asks. "Yes, Jess I will marry you." He pulls the ring out of the box and slides it onto my left ring finger and it's a perfect fit.

He pulls me in for a long and passionate kiss after he wipes my tears away. I pull away first out of breath. I lay my forehead on Jess's closing my eyes. "Let's go eat dinner beautiful." We walk out hand in hand to his black F-250. He helps me in and we head to The Capital Grille. He walks over to my side of the truck and helps me out. We walk in and he tells the lady Lockwood. She leads us to a room and the lights are off so, she turns on the lights and all of our families are there. "Oh my gosh" I walk over to my mom and I hug her. After I step away from my mom, my sister snatches my hand and she screams. "Caitlynn Elizabeth you better start talking" she says. "Well, Jess proposed to me and I said yes." All the women scream and hugs me. The guys congratulate Jess. "Alright, I am hungry so, can we sit down and eat?" I say. Everyone agrees so we sit down at the table and the waitress comes in and takes our drink orders. Everyone settles into small talk with each other. The waitress gives everyone their drinks and takes our food orders. Momma Angie starts asking a million questions along with our siblings. "When's the date? Do y'all have a venue? How many bridesmaids are you going to have? What are the colors of the wedding? Will it be outdoors or inside?" I blink slowly processing the questions coming up with answers. "We don't have a date. No venue. Five bridesmaids. We don't have any colors. Outdoors." Luckily the waitress comes in with the food before I can be bombarded with anymore questions. Everyone quietly eats. After everyone finishes eating we hug everyone bye and we head back to the hotel. I take my makeup off and my hair down. I turn on the shower and wash all of the hairspray out of my hair and clean my body. I put on a T-shirt and shorts. I go and lay down falling asleep while Jess took a shower.
