Wattpad is doing some weird stuff to my chapters like creating a paragraph in the middle of a sentence. When I change it, it creates another paragraph somewhere else, so I'm sorry if something looks weird during reading.

Iwa POV

"So, that's what you've got in here!"
The tents were built up, Oikawa and me got everything out of the car. Hanamaki and Matsukawa started playing volleyball with an inflatable volleyball, while Sami and [F/N] prepared lunch.
Oikawa held a fishing rod and shook it like a flagpole.
"Oikawa, you idiot! You're going to break it!"
I took the fishing rod from him and put it back into the case, together with the other fishing supplies. I had this stuff for a long time now, but I rarely got the chance to use it. Since we were camping at a lake, I thought I'd take it with me.
"[L/N], watch out!"
I turned around and saw [F/N] getting hit with the volleyball. It was only an inflatable ball, but Hanamaki sure had power. [F/N] dropped the knife she was holding and stumbled forward, but thankfully didn't fall.
I immediately ran over towards her, like everyone else. "[F/N], are you okay?" I placed my hand on her shoulder, but she immediately jumped away.
Out of the blue, Hanamaki came and folded his hands, while bowing his head. "[L/N], I'm sorry! Are you okay?" [F/N] was probably overwhelmed with everything. She just shook her head and told us she was fine. While everyone made sure [F/N] was really okay, I spotted the knife on the ground and took it.
"You dropped this", I said as I held the knife towards [F/N]. As she took it, our hands met. [F/N] backed away again and avoided my gaze. For some reason, my chest tightened. Her words came back into my mind. There was someone she liked, but it was obviously not me. I turned away and went back to my work.

Reader POV

Was he going away because of me? Stupid me, what was I actually doing?
"Hey [L/N], if you're done, why don't you play some volleyball with us?"
The preparations for a barbecue were already done, so technically I could.
I nodded and cleaned my working space. In the meantime, Hanamaki and Matsukawa went back to toss the ball a little. "How are you supposed to play volleyball with three people?", Oikawa asked as he joined the both guys. I joined them too as I heard Oikawa saying he would play too.
"We're playing two on two. [F/N]-chan is playing with me", Oikawa stated.
To be honest, I was nervous. I was no expert in volleyball. I knew the basics, but I'm far from being a genius like Oikawa. I hoped I wouldn't disappoint him. "[F/N]-chan. We're playing for fun, so don't worry about a thing and have fun." Oikawa winked at me and I felt relieved. He was right. We were here to have fun and not to have a national volleyball competition. I did as Oikawa said and just played. It was so much fun, even though the others were way more skilled than me. But thanks to Oikawa, I was able to spike some balls and even scored a point.
"Oikawa, you are awesome! I thought I'd never get through these giants."
Oikawa smiled and held his hands up for a high-five. I happily met his expectations and got ready for the next round, but Hajime interrupted.
"If you're looking for me, I'll be fishing at the lake."
He held up his case and turned around again. I watched him leave and didn't notice the game continued already. "[F/N]-chan, it's your turn to serve. Are you ready?"
I heard Oikawa's words, but didn't quite comprehend them. "Didn't he seem weird to you?", I asked Oikawa. He tilted his hands in response. "He seemed like Iwa-chan to me. He probably just needs some rest after driving and getting everything out of the car."
"I see..."
Without thinking, I left the game and followed Hajime to the lake. I found him sitting on a tree stump, preparing his fishing rod.
"Don't you want to join us?"
Hajime startled at the sound of my voice and turned around to face me. I looked into his eyes, full of surprise. But soon after, he turned away.
"Weren't you playing volleyball with Oikawa?" I took place next to him, my eyes fixed on the ground. "I didn't want you to be alone, so I thought I might join you." I fiddled with my hair, not knowing what to do. "If you want to be alone, just say so. I can leave-"
"Stay."
The sound of his voice startled me, but I did as he said. I sat silently next to Hajime as he finished his preparations. He stood up, walked a few steps forward and cast his fishing line into the lake. I watched him as he calmly stood there, but something seemed strange. His body was so tense, I wondered what was wrong. I didn't dare to ask and just watched him without saying a word.
"Do you want to leave?"
Hajime turned his face to meet my gaze, our eyes met. "Do I want to... what are you asking? If I wanted to leave, I would have done it already!"
This time, I stood up and headed to Hajime. "Hajime, are you okay?"
I placed my hand on his shoulder, but he shook it off.
"Please don't."
"I'm sorry."
Hajime shook his head and sighed. He seemed deeply troubled, so I took one step closer to him, our arms touching. I looked at him, but he kept staring at the water.
"[F/N]..."
His shoulders relaxed a little and he looked at me. "I'm listening", I answered, trying hard to meet his gaze, but his face was actually close to mine. My cheeks heated up and I started to feel nervous.
"You and Oikawa got pretty close", Hajime said. His voice sounded calm and... sad.
"Do you think so? I think we're rather okay."
I heard Hajime click his tongue.
"Hajime, what's-" He didn't even give me time to ask. Suddenly, Hajime's words bursted out like a volcano. "What's wrong you're asking? What's wrong with me? Let me tell you what's wrong! You know Oikawa for good two weeks and here you go crushing on him like some teenage fangirl. For your information, Oikawa has no interest in you and is probably toying with your feelings for him!"
"

My feelings for...?"
I've never seen Hajime like that. He didn't sound angry, but desperate and frustrated. But on top of that, he got the entire situation wrong. How could he just take the right to assume things and yell at me like that? I knew he probably didn't mean to, but he knew nothing about my feelings and my relationship to Oikawa.
"I'm not in love with him! It's mean to just say things you think are true, but what do you actually know? Have you asked Oikawa? Did he tell you he is just playing around? You know how he is feeling! You know what Oikawa feels for you and still, you're saying such things! You should know yourself that Oikawa is a kind person! He helps someone like me! Someone who just gets in his way and takes away what he longs to have! If anything, I'm the one toying with Oikawa's feelings for I know he loves you and I still let him support me in my feelings for you!"
I couldn't hold it back. Neither my words, nor my tears. I shouted back, but I had to. I didn't want Hajime to see everything wrong and talk like that. It was not like him. My legs give up and I found myself kneeling on the ground.
I almost didn't notice Iwa kneeled next to me, laying his fishing rod on the ground. Strong arms wrapped around me and held me close to a warm body. Hajime snuggled his head on my shoulder, apologizing.
"I had no idea you felt like that."
I just sobbed in his chest, unable to answer. I didn't know what to say after I literally yelled my confession in his face, but Hajime spoke in my place.
"I didn't know you were feeling that. I didn't know Oikawa told you the story. I was so wrong and I'm so sorry about it. I didn't mean to yell at you."
Hajime broke the embrace only to cup my face with his big hands. He wiped away my tears with his thumbs. I sobbed as I looked into his eyes. They looked all gentle now and caring. His lips formed a warm smile. He looked so kind and caring, I nearly started crying again.
"[F/N], you know... I love you too."
With these words, his face came closer to mine. I closed my eyes, ready for what was to come. His lips met mine and in this moment, my heart beat like crazy and my cheeks burned as hell. My mind went blank, I couldn't think, but I knew I felt happy. More tears escaped my eyes and ran down my cheeks until they met Hajime's hands. I broke the kiss, only to kiss him again. And again. And again. I grabbed Hajime's shirt and pulled him closer to me. His arms wrapped me in for a tight embrace. I snuggled in closer to him and just enjoyed his warmth. We stayed like this for what felt like an eternity. Eventually, Hajime let go of me.
"We... uhm... We should go back to the others", Hajime said with a deep blush on his face. I nodded, probably blushing just as much. Hajime got up and reached his hand out to me, which I gladly took. We made our way back to our camping place, hand in hand. When we got back, Hanamaki and Matsukawa have started the barbecue already. And Sami stood next to them, watching and obviously annoying them. I couldn't resist to chuckle. As we got closer, they saw us and immediately stopped what they were doing.
"[F/N]? I can't believe it!"
Sami run towards me and jumped at me for a hug. I swear I nearly died by suffocation, but thankfully, she let go of me. Hanamaki whistled in surprise and Matsukawa just said he was expecting nothing less. Oikawa, on the other side, was surprisingly silent, but his face said everything. He smiled, warm and kind. In this moment, I knew he was the reason for all of this. As we exchanged a few gazes, Oikawa's lips formed a silent phrase.

"You're welcome."
