Chapter 10-New Girls And Jealousy

It was official.

I needed a new best friend.

I loved Cam and all but there's only so many times I can let someone snatch my ice cream.

"You owe me." I glared at my supposed bestie.

"I promise to get you cheesecake on our way to school on Monday." She managed to get out through a mouthful of ice cream. My ice cream.

"Speaking of school,have you gotten your uniform?" She asked me.

"Not yet. But it should be here soon. You?"

"I don't have mine either. I can't believe we're going back to those formless skirts and blankets they call shirts. " Cam flopped unto the couch.

"Are Cole and Chris back yet?" I asked.

"Um,I don't think so but I have more pressing issues on my mind. You know how I've started rewatching Gossip Girl for the sixteenth time?" Se began.

"You might have mentioned it a couple thousand times." I said,twisting my body towards Cam.

"Well,I've been reminded of my intense hate towards Vanessa,I mean she isn't even that pretty and is it just me or was Serena totally ugly in the first two seasons? I don't know how it happened but it's like she had a massive glow-up before season three began. And Dan. Don't even get me started on Dan. Did he really have to jump from girl to girl?  I can't really judge though cause Serena did the exact same thing. And Chuck. Oh Chuck. He was so fucking stupid and annoying in the first two seasons. Why couldn't he just tell Blair he loved her?

"Then Jenny happened. Who the hell does that bitch think she is? Blair fucking made her and now she thinks she's way above everyone,including Eric who has been nothing but lovely to her from the very beginning and after her dad got married to Serena's mum,she became a nuisance. I swear,I was this close to shoving my hands into the tv and wringing her skinny little neck!

"Even Nate! Dating Blair while he was in love with Serena was a total dick move. They're best friends for fuck sake! Honestly,the only sane person on that show is Blair. People should just get used to the fact that she's fucking awesome already.

"And don't even let me begin the gist on Pretty Little Liars and the Vampire Diaries..." Cam might've been the biggest bitch in school but she basically ate,breathed and lived Netflix shows. She especially loved Blair and the only difference between the both of them was that,unlike Blair,Cam didn't need followers to scare everyone shitless.

"Cam we get it. Elena is such a fool for picking Damon over Stephan." Cole's voice rang from the doorway and the figures of Cole and Chris emerged.

Cam stared at them for a while,looked left,right,up,down,under the couch cushions,under the couch itself and under the the table with a frantic look on her face as she searched for something.

"Um,are you okay?" Chris inquired,giving his sister a weirded out look to which she shook her head sadly before saying;

"I'm so sorry Cole but  I can't seem to find where I asked for your opinion."

"It really isn't bad at all." I commented.

Cam and I were in her room on Monday morning after getting dressed for school. Camryn was standing in front of her floor length dressing mirror in her walk-in closet and I was beside.

"Surprisingly." Our new uniform consisted of a plain white fitted short-sleeved shirt,a navy blue flared skirt that ends just above mid-thigh,a navy blue tie with red stripes and the school's logo,you could choose between a navy blue blazer or sweater and your socks had to be at least knee-length. Cam and I both had thigh-length socks on.
