~ chap 7 - problems with best friend ~

KENZIE P.O.V

Isaak and I arrive at school and I hop off excitedly.

"Thank you for letting me wear your clothes Isaak. I really appreciate it." I say while he goes closer to me.

"Well, if you like it so much, you can keep it. You look prettier." He says, grinning at me.

I was about to lean in for a kiss but John calls my name. I curse under my breath and Isaak just chuckles.

"Hey John! What's up?" I say, turning around to face John. Isaak puts his hands around my waist gently and I lean on him.

"Where did you go last night?" He asks me, while Nadia going to him.

"I..... I uh......" I stutter then Isaak coughs.

"She was with me." He answers John, sternly.

"May..... May I talk to Kenzie? Alone?" Johnny asks, and Isaak nods, heading inside the building and Nadia leaves as well.

"Johnny....." I say, while there's tears in his eyes.

He was crying cause he knew that I left with Isaak. From what I can tell, he hates our relationship.

"Kenz..... Why didn't you tell me? If you did, I wouldn't be crying my ass off here." Johnny explains and I look down.

"Isaak..... He's a man that you don't want to hang out with Kenz...... Please-" Johnny tries to say, without more tears flowing down his cheeks. He stops talking cause I went closer to him and I wiped his tears.

"Look Johnny. I know you care about me and all but, I'm a junior now. I can make my life choices. Him and I are dating now." I explain to him and his eyes widened.

"Kenzie. You just met him yesterday!" He says, throwing his hands in the air.

"John.... Why can't you just support me on something I chose for once?!" I say, starting to get mad at him.

"W-w-what do you mean? I support you every fucking decision every fucking day Mackenzie! God dammit! You know what? If you wanna play that game, then don't you dare come running to me when he breaks your heart." Johnny says , walking away.

"Fine! I won't come running to you!" I yell at him since he was far away from me.
