The next morning, after Daniel woke up in his other body and walked into the kitchen to find (Y/N) getting ready to leave.

She was standing by the door, dressed in a fitted black turtle neck and tailored black dress pants to match. She must have heard him walk in and looked up from where she was slipping on her shoes.

" 'Morning. Your mom's outside folding boxes and Jay left."

Daniel was still standing dumbstruck in the entrance of the kitchen.

'Why is she dressed like that? Doesn't she deliver pizza? And the last time I saw her working but not delivering pizza she was in a hoodie in jeans! Why is she so dressed up?'

(Y/N) frowned when she saw that Daniel was still staring dumbly at her. She must have forgotten to mention something...

"Oh! And there's donuts on the counter, they're bangin."

"Uhuh." Daniel mumbled, his thoughts beginning to wander.

He couldn't help it! It just felt so domestic, he couldn't help but imagine (Y/N) coming back to a home of their own. He would have made a nice dinner for her to come home to after a long day of work, and he would have cleaned the house, and-

"Uhh, I'm gonna head out. I'll probably see you later." (Y/N) said, breaking Daniel out of his little fantasy.

"Oh! Umm... Yeah! I'll see you l-later." Daniel stumbled through his sentence, crashing back to earth after his trip to the clouds.

(Y/N) pressed her lips together and nodded before slinging her backpack over her shoulder and walking out. She waved at Daniel's mother on her way out and made her way down the street, looking for a specific car.

The Boss had said one of the lower ranking members would drop off a company car nearby. She recognized the car as soon as she saw it and quickly made her way towards the vehicle, sighing in relief when she saw that they left the keys in the car this time.

She got in and started the car, turning the radio on before pulling out of where the member had parked. The location of where she was to pick up her 'cargo' was conveniently already plugged into the car's GPS, so all (Y/N) really had to do was drive to the pickup location.

She hummed to the music as she pulled up to the sidewalk by the expensive apartment complex. She rolled down her window and looked around, trying to see who she was here to meet.

It was definitely somebody important, judging that the boss made her work when she wasn't supposed to and the fact that she couldn't use Huo's car.

Nobody in particular stood out, so (Y/N) decided to let them come to her. If they really needed to see her so badly, they would find her.

And find her they did.

(Y/N) jumped when there was a knock on her window and began to roll it down, but froze when her eyes met the person's on the other side of the window. They both stared at what they could see of each other's face for a moment before (Y/N) rolled the window up again.

Once she was hidden behind the privacy of the car's tinted windows again, she rested her head on the steering wheel and sighed before... releasing her frustration.

"FuuuuUUUCK!"

There was another knock on the car's window, this time on the passenger side. (Y/N) sighed and unlocked the door. She didn't look as the other teen folded his lanky limbs to get into the car, instead frustratedly running her fingers through their hair and huffing again.

She may have looked a bit pissy, but at least she was composed.

The passenger sat there in awkward silence for a moment, occasionally glancing at (Y/N).

After a few minutes, he uncomfortably coughed into his fist and began to speak.

"So... long time no see."

(Y/N) side eyed the boy. "Did you get your license revoked since the last time I saw you?"

"What? No?"

"Then why couldn't you drive yourself?" She hissed, not looking at him as she quickly backed out of her spot, earning angry honks from other drivers.

"I-I don't know! My mom-"

"Don't use her as an excuse. Ever since we broke up you've been finding very creative ways to meddle with me, but I didn't think that you'd bring my work into this-"

"What?! I didn't even-"

"That's low, Gio, even for you." (Y/N) said lowly.

"Even for me?" The teen angrily repeated, "What hell does that mean?"

"Don't play stupid with me. I know exactly what you've been doing."

"You don't know anything about me. You made that clear." Giovanni snarled, crossing his arms and leaning back in his seat.

"Jesus Christ," (Y/N) sighed, this conversation only making her mood worse. Her overly attached ex was the last person she wanted to see right now.

"I have a job, Gio. I had and still have more important things to do. I didn't really think all the ooey gooey shit was necessary."

"So that's what it was, you thought I was easy!"

(Y/N) pressed her lips into a thin line and gripped the steering wheel tighter. Thank god she broke up with this dude, he was annoying as shit.

"I bet you thought I was convenient too, huh?"

"Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to." (Y/N) finally answered. That should shut him up for a while.

"Of course I was! You know, girls like you-"

(Y/N)'s prediction was incorrect.

They were stuck at a stop light now and (Y/N) was doing everything she could to block out Giovanni's ranting. She even risked looking away from the road to find something distracting.

Her eyes wandered down one of the nearby alleys and she most definitely found something worth her time. She choked when she saw Daniel and Jay both beefing it out with some guy that looked to be three times the size of both of them combined.

"Are you KIDDING me?" She hissed.

"What, did I strike a nerve?" Gio asked smugly before being choked by his seatbelt because (Y/N) jerked the car into drive and sped towards the alley and came to another screeching halt at the entrance.

The three brawling teens looked up to the car that's as now in the alley, all of their eyes widening when a seething (Y/N) stepped out of the car.

"What the hell is going on here?" She growled.

Perhaps she was a bit irritable today.
