The Nightwalker. -Complete-

Chapter 4.

The car stops at the parking lot of the large school. Darien runs out, His eyes scan the schoolgrounds for his two friends. Lenari walks out of the car too and without a goodbye the car rides away.

Darien spots the long brown hair of William. "Will!" He shouts. He runs to the kid while Lenari walks behind him slowly. She is still scratching her face from the make-up.

"He Darien." William says when Darien reaches his friend. "Hey Will. You need to meet someone!" Darien says with a smile on his face. He turns to Lenari, who is standing behind him.

She waves a little. She tries to smile, but it isn't really working. William's mouth opens a little. "Hello there, pretty lady." The two shake hands.

"Hey." Is everything she says back. She looks at Darien, Her eyes wide as if she doesn't know what to do with the human in front of her.

"Where is Josh?" Darien asks. Lenari lets out a frustrated sigh. "No idea," William says. "Haven't seen him yet." William and Darien starts walking inside, Lenari follows them.

She looks around. She knows that if she becomes hungry she could kill all of the people here. The thought puts a smile on her face. She misses it, killing.

But the kick killing gives her will not show up when Alucard isn't around. The thought of Alucard lets her smile fade again. She misses him. They got seperated when they captured her.

He has to be out there somwhere, and she is going to find him. She needs to find him. They enter the building and a few kids look at Lenari. Some start whispering, others just stare.

They enter a classroom and a woman stands in front of a desk. She is writing something down. William coughs a little and the woman looks up. She looks at Lenari and closes her eyes for a moment, trying to call herself down.

"What is it, William?" She asks. "New student." Is all he says. Darien pushes Lenari forward. "This is-" Lenari cuts him off. "Lenari." She says. Darien's eyes widen a bit. He gives Lenaria look, but she just smirks at the boy.

"Well," The woman pauses for a second. "Lenari. Welcome, my name is Sandra Bronks and I will be your math teacher." Lenari's smirk onlt grow because it is obvious that the woman is terrified of her.

"Thanks you miss." She says before sitting down on top of a table. William sits down on the chair next to Lenari. Darien sits down behind them, he saves the chair next to him for Josh.

A few people walk in and all of them get greeted by Mrs Bronks. They sit down next to friends. Mrs Bronks wants to start her lesson when Josh runs in.

"Sorry!" He shouts before sitting down next to Darien. He looks in front of him to see Lenari and William whispering to each other.

"Does he have a new girl?" Josh whispers to Darien. Darien shakes his head. "She's a friend of mine." He says. Josh nods a little. "Nice job." He says with a smirk.

Lenari - who is still sitting on top of the table- looks behind her and glares at Josh. Josh winks at the girl and she just sighs.

"Um." The teacher says. She pauses again. "Lenari, can you sit down on the chair, please?" She asks. "Not really." Lenari replies. The smirk is back on her face.

A few kids gasp while other chuckle a bit. Lenari even hears someone whisper "She is gonna get it." This makes Lenari's smirk grow.

"O-okay." The teacher stutters. The girl who said that Lenari was going to get it opens her mouth. "Mrs Bronks!?" She shrieks. "Why can the new kid sit on the table and we not?"

Lenari rolls her eyes. She is starting to like this school. "Because I say so, Esmeralda. Now keep your mouth shut and let me continue my lesson."

"Yeah Esmeralda." Lenari says. She looks at the teacher. The teacher looks down before continueing. William chuckles before standing up and sitting on the table next to Lenari.

"William!" The teacher says, but she continues her class when Lenari says "He can sit on the table."

Darien starts to get nervous. The kids will see that there is something different with Lenari. Josh is trying his best to keep his laugh in. "That friend of yours is awesome, Darien." He says.

When class ends they walk out of the room. Lenari waves at Mrs Bronks. They all gather in the hallway. "Josh, William, this is Lenari." Darien says.

"You're awesome." Josh says when he and Lenari shake hands. "Thank you." She says. "That was amazing, girl. I have never seen Mrs Bronks like this." William adds.

"I am sure she could even call her Sandra without getting punished." Josh says. They all start laughing. Darien smiles. He knew they would like each other.

It was time for history. They all sat down. This time Josh sat next to Lenari and William and Darien sat down in front of them. Mr Adrens walks in and his eyes widen in fascination when he sees Lenari.

He walks up to the vampire and shakes her hand. "Lenari, I assume." He says. "You're assumption is good." She replies. "It is nice to meet you." Mr Adrens says.

The class goes on normally. When the first break shows up, they allw alk outside. "Man, Mr Adrens likes you Lenari." Josh says before sitting down on a bench outside.

"Yeah, he absolutely hates Josh." Darien says. Lenari sits down next to Josh and William takes the spot on the right of Lenari. Darien stands in front of them.

Josh laughs. "He does." He says. They talk some more. Darien is happy that his two friends are oblivious for Lenari being a vampire.

That she said her real name can become  a thing though. If anyone knows about her story she could be in real danger.

Lenari looks at Darien, and as if she read his thoughts she says "What do you guys think of the name Vanity?" She smirks at Darien. Darien looks at her with wide eyes.

"I like the name." William says. "But I like Lenari better." He adds. "Agreed." Josh says. Lenari looks at Darien with a smile.

"Me too." She says with a little nod.
