The Nightwalker. -Complete-

Chapter 10.

Kelone only snickers a little. "Lennie, I am not scared of you." He says before grabbing her hands in his. "You wouldn't do it anyway." He adds.

Lenari's eyes widen and her fangs extend. "Are you sure about that Kel?" She asks ripping her hands from his. "Where is he?" She asks again. Kelone shakes his head.

"He doesn't want to see you anymore." Kelone answers. "Bullshit." She shouts. Darien walks back into the room. Lenari grabs Kelone's head and exposes his neck.

"I'm sorry."

She buries her fangs into his neck and starts drinking. Kelone doesn't do anything to stop her. He just stands there, holding the chair behind him to keep himself steady.

Darien runs back outside. He doesn't have to see another murder. Especially when Lenari is the one that is killing again.

Lenari stops drinking and puts the unconcious Kelone on the couch. She runs outside and jumps into the car. Darien follows her movement and they start driving.

"Where is he?" Darien asks. "Not now, I will forget if I talk too much." She answers. She keeps smiling, her half extended fangs exposed. Darien looks away.

He can't help but hear the little drips of blood from her fangs hitting the chair Lenari is sitting on. They drive for hours. They don't say anything. Lenari focuses on the road and Darien just looks at the trees they pass.

Midnight arrives and Lenari stops the car at the edge of a forest. She opens her door and gets out. Darien grabs the backpack with food and runs after her.

She dissapears in the forest with Darien right on her heels. She sniffs the air. Her smile fades. "We need to hurry, he will smell us in no time." She whispers. Darien only nods and follows the vampire deeper into the forest.

The dark and leaveless trees tower over them. The few stars twinkle above them while the half full moon provides them some light. Lenari's eyes search every inch of the forest, looking for the man she always worked with.

Darien starts smelling smoke, as if somebody is making a fire. He hears laughing and talking. One glance at Lenari tells him she has heard it too. She starts moving faster and Darien has a hard time keeping up with her.

She stops all of the sudden and Darien crashes into her back. He falls to the ground while Lenari just stands there, not even moved an inch from the crash that just happened.

He stands up and looks past Lenari. She is staring at a man. He is tall and has pitch black hair. His back is turned to the two, so Darien can't see his face. But something tells him that this is the Alucard they wanted to find.

Lenari takes a step closer to the man that is standing next to a big campfire. "Why are you back?" He asks without turning around to see who it is. "Al-"  "Don't 'Al' me, Lenari." He shouts while turning around.

His eyes are a crimson red with a little green spot in his left eye. He has a sharp nose and his mouth is drawn in a tight line.

Lenari looks at the ground. "I'm sorry." She says. Her eyes are closed again and she started trembling. Darien- who is still hiding in the woods- looks at the girl.

Alucard runs forward and grabs her shoulders. "What have they done to you?" He mutters, probably asking it himself more than Lenari. She just shakes her head and hugs the man in front of her.

He is taller than her so her head gets burried in his chest. Another woman walk into the scene and gasps. Her red hair shaking as she steps back a little.

"Lenari?" She asks. Alucard lets go of the girl and steps at the redhead threatingly. "Get back inside." He says in a stern voice. She bows a little before obeying him.

He turns back to Lenari and grabs her head. "Why did you leave?" He asks. "I told you it wasn't save, and you still ran. Why?"

She looks up and sighs. "Because, Al, if I hadn't run and distracted them they would've got all of us." He hugs her again. "I missed you." He says with a smile.

Lenari turns to Darien when she exits the hug. "Darien? Do you want to meet my companion." At the word Companion Alucard smiles. Darien nods and comes out of hiding.

Darien waves a little, but Alucard walks closer and shakes his hand. "Nice to meet you." Alucard says. "You might want to sleep in my compartment. I don't trust the others with a human in their rooms." He adds before dragging Darien to Lenari.

He leads Darien  inside and comes out alone. "How'd you find me?" He asks Lenari, who is watching the dying fire. "Kelone." She asnwers. Alucard joins her with watching the fire. "He didn't tell you, did he?"

Lenari shakes her head. before looking at the moon above them. "I had to drink his blood for answers."

Alucard puts a hand on her shoulder. "And now?" He asks her. "Save the others and go back to how we used to live." She says with a smirk.

"Kill everything you can." Alucard says, looking at the girl.

"As long as it has the good bloodgroup." She adds while looking in the eyes of her long lost companion.
