seth and sasha's friends arrived to their hotel dressed in their fanciest clothing. sasha loved that her friends cared that much. she linked arms with bayley as soon as she arrived, she was going to to the same with charlotte, but was met with a very harsh look.
something was up.
sasha knew when she saw:
dean arrive with liv
randy arrive with renee
carmella arrive with xavier
and bayley arrive with finn while kevin came with a friend.
charlotte walked in slowly behind roman. they had been fighting a lot lately. from what sasha was gathering, charlotte started to resent roman for the his behaviour. it was sad to watch your best friends relationship fall apart as your's starts.
"thank you all for coming! it means a lot. after all the work we've been doing for the company lately we needed a fancy outing"
"amen to that" bayley cheered as everyone took a sip of their drink.
"would the best man like to give a speech?"
"yessir!" roman smiled as dean scoffed. "what's the problem, deano?"
"i would have obviously been the best man, so i give the speech"
"how about we don't fight?" xavier giggles trying to avoid any further tension.
"like roman knows anything about that" charlotte mumbles making roman scoff. she rolls her eyes at him.
"okay! what the fuck is your problem?" he pressed as if he had been wondering for a while. "we would like to be excused, please."
"no, i refuse to go anywhere with you!"
"so we are doing this here, charlotte?"
"i guess we are"
"these past couple of weeks all you've done is yell at me! i ask you all the damn time what did i do wrong, i try to make everything work! i tell you i love you everyday, i make you breakfast in the morning! i kiss you every chance i get and this is what i get?" roman explains loudly as the room falls silent. seth and sasha look at each other shocked. this was supposed to be a fun night.
"what do you want me to say to that? huh roman? am i supposed to say i am sorry? is that what you want to hear?"
"no! god i just want the truth!"
"i don't love you anymore!" she yelled as tears poured out onto her cheeks. he looked at her stunned unable to speak. everyone was speechless. they were the power couple. this was supposed to be a night of celebrations.
"oh, i see" was all roman could make out before he made his way to the door.
"don't leave!" seth cried, but he was already gone. seth bowed his head.
"don't worry, i got him" xavier sighed and ran after him.
the room was still in silence, ten minutes later until dean finally spoke. "so, charlotte"
"what?"
"that was pretty ugly"
"yes, i know"
"and that big outburst was kind of your fault"
"shut up! you have no idea what you are talking about!"
"oh, but i do. roman is my best friend, he told me everything he tried to save your relationship, in the end you were not satisfied, which is okay, but you strung him along for six months. you let him believe you guys still had a future and at the of the day i was the one he called crying, every fucking night! so yeah, it is your fault. to hell with you!"
everyone was shocked yet again. dean stormed out as liv followed behind him.
charlotte rolled her eyes and headed up to her own room.
"shots?" renee suggested trying to bring the party up.
"thought you'd never ask"
the rest of the group gathered around taking shots. seth smiled at all his friends. "i love all of you, thank you for coming"
"we wouldn't miss it man" bayley smiles as she hugs him. the group downs their first shot of many for that night.
after the bump in the road, roman had returned with xavier and joined the party. it was a fun night, but tomorrow would be a hard day for roman.
