The Vampire moved over the top of Gabriel and reached for a black silk robe. Vali could manifest clothes by manipulating his shadows but he preferred the real material of clothing. Shadow King prefer to not let his shadow ability be a total known ability.

One must have some mystery should they not?

Gabriel got out of bed as soon as he left and checked on Maria. She was asleep like in a trance. Fucking vampires and their mind games. The girl went to the window and peeked around the curtains. The small keep had stonework she could climb down

Vampires and castles too? One old, tired clique after another.

Now how to slow Vali down?

Gabriel found her bag unopened. Her fingers touched the chalk, she removed it and began to draw angelic script on the door inside then stood on the bed for the ceiling and finally the floor.

Next was the bathroom door. She put her Doc Martens on, drew markings on the glass and curtains. With the chalk in her mouth, she began climbing down. It had rained, so the stonework was slick and a cold wind was blowing so her fingers stiffen up but if it meant freedom it was worth it.

As soon as her feet touched ground, she ran straight for the stables. No one was around so she found a small shod horse and tacked it up. Gabriel threw a quarter sheet on the horse and mounted the horse. She could put the sheet over bare legs to stay warm until she could stop to dress. As she rode out, an old splitting axe was against a wall.

Now she had a weapon.

Vali hummed as he entered the room with a large tray in hand. He was going to insist she eat from his fingers and lick them clean occasionally. Kazıklı bey closed the bedroom door to see Gabriel not in bed but heard water filling in the bathroom. Yes, he liked that idea.

The Vampire set the tray down of various fruits and meat, to join her when something caught his eye. It was the Angelic script on the bathroom door. He looked down at his feet as he felt a tingling. There was Angelic script under his bare feet. His head went up and more script. The door and walls all had it. Gabriel had sealed him in the room.

Vali snarled and created shadow clothes but it still was stinging him. The script wouldn't kill him but it was irritating and currently he was bound in the room. He put his real clothes on and then began searching the room. The vampire looked under the bed and in the closet then a slight breeze went across his right cheek.

"She went out the fucking window again? Couldn't have?! Her tattoo is elaborate and real looking but not that real!"

When Vali stripped Gabriel, she had an intricate tattoo of grey shaded wings with holy symbols from every known current worshipped religion and most of the dead ones too. Eygptian and Norse mixed with Angelic script. Tribal bands came around to end as three points at the side of each breast and just over each hip bone. It was hours upon hours of blood and pain she would have endured.

Vali pulled the thick curtains back and felt the stinging sensation. He saw the blessed Angelic script on the curtains and glass. His eyes studied the window and then a cruel smile, enhanced by fangs, crossed his lips. She couldn't get the window completely shut so script didn't seal completely. He chuckled softly then let a low rumbling growl laced sexual tones, out. His rage had turned undeniable lust.

This could be good or bad for Gabriel...

"Perhaps you are what the Japanese call a Kitsune? I think it's time I go fox hunting."

Vali became shadows and poured out the window to reform standing on the ground. He whistled and several gypsies came out from a servants quarters.

"Saddle Strider and three of you also saddle horses. The girl decided to go for an evening walk."
