"Kazıklı Voivode why are you here? It was only a headache with a nosebleed. I use to have nosebleeds as a child and I've been due for a migraine. No reason to come back so soon,"then her eyes got big."Did I do something so bad you had to come back?"
"No Dragostea mea, you have been a perfect member of my modern court," Vali stroked her forehead.
"Something happened in Prague?!" Gabriel grabbed his arm by the sleeve. "I don't fucking need to see it!"
"What do you mean by that? Did you have something to do with it? You did ask what if I perished, what would happen to you..." the fingers of his other hand slipped around her throat.
"Aah...this is going to be bad..."
Vali felt her body jerk and twitch. Her mouth said words but it was like listening to a recording. Gabriel recalled all the events seen through Draganu's experience of events.
Vali chuckled and used telekinesis to bring two large towels. Gabriel awoke and began heaving the contents of her full stomach from lunch. The vampire held her hair and head up, out of the vomit.
"It seems Draga mea, you have been holding out on me...psychometry. That explains some observations as to how information you couldn't possibly know. If you only need to touch an item after me and get pieces of intel from my memories."
"Well you at least washed before you got here... fuck you reeked there," Gabriel replied making a face of disgust.
"Really? You can read all the senses?"
"Yes my Lord Draganu I can. You are a large object versus a pen, so even stronger."
"Mmm, I need you to clean up and meet me for dinner this evening. I want to dine and see how the dance practice is going..."
"Do you wish me to wear anything thing particular?" Gabriel said trying to read his facial expression.
"Something short, flowing and nothing underneath," Vali kissed her neck "I have missed you..."
"I'm not sure that's healthy coming from a vampire, let alone you All Father."
"Hmm, yes but Tabitha is probably in hell and would argue as she was not in my good regards," Vali began to hum. "Can you touch any object?"
"More recent the better I don't always get a 'reading' of anything."
"I think we will be spending the weekend in Prague and the only work you have is to see if you can gain anymore clues for me " Vali licked her neck, "If you hadn't lost your lunch, you would be in serious trouble."
Vali was sitting in the game room, drinking his wine and listening to the fire crackle. A long, content sigh left the Vampire King. Perhaps some traditions should die out. After today's attack, perhaps the vampire masquerade ball should no longer continue.
It was a once a year event to head count and see which 'child' was most likely out to get him. Vampire King spent two days of being host to grand dances and spectacles.
Vali opened his eyes to see Gabriel standing at the doorway with a bottle of his blood wine, a thin red opaque dress with black buckskin boots over the knee. A large choker was around her throat then went down her chest to form a sort of breast plate of bone beads.
"Come in lopata'k..."
"Evening Viovode Draganu. May I ask what lopata'k means?"
"It is a Moravian Wallachia sweet cake that I enjoyed while I was a live. You too, are a desert I would have enjoyed when living."
