In the shadows of the late night, in the city of Boston, two dark forms raced over roofs and leaped to others. The one was a tall, pale man with ebony hair, flowing freely in the wind. The other was a young woman with long, wavy brown hair. The two looked at each from across the street then to the back alley of a church. There, hunkered down was their prey.

The raven haired man, curled his lip to flash nasty looking fangs then licked his lips. His right hand motioned to the young woman and she nodded then worked her way down off the church. She walked into it and the doors closed.

Vali watched the "Church Goer" serial killer enter the Catholic Church. It was merely two minutes maybe and Gabe was running out of the church, crying then stumbled to hit the ground.

"No...! Don't hurt me," she cried out to the man.

"Oh sweetheart, I can see the sin on your face..." a man in his early forties cooed to her. "I bet a pretty thing like you did the worst sin of all..."

"Church Goer" didn't hear Vampire King descend but he jumped when Vali whispered in his ear.

"She's a right bad, naughty girl that one..." he chuckled sadistically. "She fucked a vampire in a famous church in Austria and loved it!"

The serial killer turned around to see if the tall, dark haired man was crazy. What greeted him was one pale hand squeezing his throat and lifting his body, off the ground completely.

"Aah but she's my mate and the mother of two beautiful children of mine..." Draganu smirked then tipped his head and gave the serial killer a show of his fangs.

"Just let me go! I obviously made a mistake!" the killer pleaded for his life.

"Want a shot at my baby girl still? I'll let you try but I warn you, she's not like any human girl you've terrorized before, you coward..." Draganu looked to Gabriel then tossed the killer on the ground at her feet, now as she was standing.

The man wet himself then fled down the alley as fast as he could run. Gabe leapt to the rooftops once more and pursued the killer. Several blocks away and in a park, the serial killer stopped to catch his breath. A slender hand of a woman, hanging upside down, grabbed him and placed him in a choke hold. The man's feet kicked to touch the ground then they kicked two more times and stopped. With a loud thump, the serial killer's body hit the ground.

The following evening, Dr. Geoffrey Steiger entered the Washington D.C. office of the FBI. He and his team were celebrating the capture of the "Church Goer". An office employee informed Dr. Steiger that a Mr. Draganu was waiting to see him. He had information about Gabriel. It had been five years since Gabriel disappeared from the London nightclub.

"Hello?" Dr. Steiger inquired.

"Have a seat Geoffrey or should I say father in law?" a deep, menacing voice said from a dark spot in the office.

"Who are you? And what do you want?" the profiler ordered.

"You can tell your baby girl, why you never bothered to come and try to find her, five long years ago..."the dark voice rumbled.

"There was nothing I could have done, if I went to Europe..." the father replied.

"And it wasn't because of your book tour now was it?" the man in the shadows, said back.

"That too...now who are? I demand to know!" Dr. Steiger ordered.

Suddenly more light came through the darkness and Gabe's father could see Vali sitting down and his arm around a woman, his daughter alive and well it seemed. "Father in law, thought it was time for a much overdue family reunion. Would you like to see your grandchildren?" Vali hissed out then finished with another low, maniacal laugh.
