Gabriel fell asleep in his arms to wake up in a large bedroom in Vienna. The room looked just like pictures from brochures of manors and castles. The gold trimmed decorating and a canopy bed. The young woman got up to study the room when a knock came to the door. She walked to it, “Yes?”“Food Dame Steiger…”
Gabriel opened the door then blinked. “I’m not a Dame, sir…”
“Ahh but you are by my Lord Draganu. You have taken the station of Knight at his side as of last night. This is breakfast. Shower and then you are needed to check security and any changes to how the event will go for tonight…”
“Well thank you then," she replied.
Gabriel ate, showered and dressed for the evening. She did makeup so her eyes stood out and then clipped brown cosplay rabbit ears in her hair. With a tail attached to the kimono and the samurai sword set at her waist, she left her room. Her outfit was a samurai bunny girl.
Gabe's outfit raised several eyebrows and a few lips being licked also. She was a tasty morsel being relayed to vampires far and wide. Vali’s little pet had a way about her so it was understood the acquisition had to be subtle and only with Vali’s death. It did embolden some to possibly challenge him this weekend.
The college girl noticed right away her senses were even more enhanced. Then it was her speed and dex she discovered. A worker had started to drop a set of dishes and Gabe was at his side holding them. She had caught all the dishes, stacked them as they fell and then handed them back to the worker.
Gabe strolled the perimeter to do a final check for security. The gypsies were all at their stations and the few vampires that Lord Draganu trusted, patrolled. Before the blood pact they would have never taken orders from a little human like her but know she was to be addressed as Dame Steiger and you listened or she got to stake you personally.
They sensed something untapped about the young woman and her strong connection to their vampire lord. That was good enough even if she wasn’t a vampire.
Dame Steiger checked the time then decided to check on Vali herself. Her senses told her he was in the library talking to someone. The young woman made her way to the library with long, fast strides and in no time was at the oak door. She rapped her knuckles on the door first.
“Come in Dame…”
“Evening Lord Draganu, your guests will be arriving soon. How fashionably late do you wish to be my lord?” she asked him.
“I will make my appearance when all of the guests have arrived my dear…”
Gabe did a slight bow, “Of course I will see you then.”
“Gerald that will be all right now,” Vali told the man. “You may leave.”
Gabe turned to follow Gerald only to have the door shut quickly after him. The young woman stopped then glanced over her shoulder. The First Vampire was just standing at his desk with a smirk on his face. Gabriel turned around and marched up to his desk to hear what it was needed done.
“All the security is in place?” he asked.
“Yes my Lord...”
“The crew is proceeding on time?” another question asked.
“Yes my Lord...”
“You attend to all of this yourself?” He inquired now.
“I did my Lord.”
“Good, very good little one. It's time you took a break. Come sit with me…”
“Okay?”
