Vali had several high powered vampires swear an oath of loyalty to him.  The Vampire King was feeling quite smug that his little pet made quite the show.  He would need to reward her well.

Andrei was right that Gabe would be angry and give him a cold bed but the old vampire was smuggly sure that he could get back in it, without much trouble.

Around 3 a.m. the Shadow King dismissed his court then headed to Gabe’s room.  Being in a rather good mood he didn’t pay attention to his surroundings or the mark on the door in chalk.  His attention was gotten when his fingers burned.  Once again nothing more than as if cleaning a battery terminal but a burning itchy pain tinged feeling that he found extremely irritating.

“Miss Steiger get up and remove this Angelic script immediately!”  Vali angrily demanded of the young woman.

He heard her heart rate slow and even. She was sound asleep then he heard music.  That little brat put music on so she couldn’t hear him yelling at her.

Fine, he thought it's only mild pain that does little damage.  He then laughed why he was not using his shadows?

Gabe had been right, he often didn’t think to use his shadows for things other than attacks and intimidation.  His shadows  slipped through and unlocked the old door then swung it open.  The First Nosferatu went from amused to pissed off.

Every surface he could see had Angelic script on it.  The floor was like a carpet.  The bed posts for the bed and even her body had the damn writing on what she could get to!

“Why you vindictive little cottontail...showing your teeth.  No matter, I will have a discussion with you before the party and this little escapade will be discussed as vampires discuss and not  as humans…”

Lord Draganu shifted to shadow form and dropped to his chambers which for once was not the thing to do.  He phased through the floor to enter to find Angelic script in his room.  A vampiric roar of indignation could be heard and Gabe slept through it as her heavy metal music droned on.

The old vampire paced the floor.  His door of course had been decorated like a church door.  The ceiling was a few to annoy but the thing that really, really angered him was the Angelic script on the inside of his coffin.

The Vampire cursed loudly at himself as to why he bothered to keep the little shit of a girl around.  Was the game worth this disrespectful brat of a woman that drove him to fits of anger?

Yes...but why?

Then a loud and maniacally laugh filled the manor that even spooked his oathed children staying at the residence.  Gabriel Steiger played the game and gave it her all.  She was so bold and her anger made her so calculating that she came up with a way to irritate him.  Two could play this game of irritation.  He simply spread his shadows to the point that they flowed through the gaps in the symbols and up into her room.  Vali remained levitated as his shadows grasped the bedding to wipe the symbols from her skin.

Once the irritation was removed he slipped into the bed with only his black pants that had buttons with two undone so a small patch of black hair peeked from the open buttons.  Nimble pale fingers pulled the nearest earbud then the old vampire blew breath on the shell of  her ear.  Gabe brushed at her ear still asleep.  The second breath was stronger with a faint whistle to it like a blowing wind.

“Wah,  did I leave the window open..?” she mumbled groggy.

Her eyes tried to adjust to the dark and just having been woken up.  Gabe had been sleeping on her stomach so when she turned her head she looked straight into two glowing molten lava eyes peered back at her.
