Gabriel hurt everywhere. The Vampire King forgot about his nails, so she had cuts on her back and shoulders. She had bruises below and an aching pelvis but it wasn't broken so that was a plus. Vali had forgotten his strength when pounding into and she had gotten dry so tears of her vaginal walls, besides bruising. Her neck was the worse with the burn. It was hard to ignore, so close to her head. She wondered if that was the reason he wanted the choker to cover when it needs to be hidden. It didn't really happen matter. Pain clouded her mind.

Bodu aka Baskerville was waiting for her, in her room. The fae dog wagged his tail and licked her hand. His eyes glowed softly. Gabriel put her red dress back on and pulled the wolf fur robe, from the wardrobe and put it on. Her dress began to stick in the cuts as the blood clotted. It would hurt later but the droplets of blood hitting the floor stopped for now.

Why did he have to be so brutal?

He was because he could. He was because it gave him pleasure.

She had false hope she would be treated better if she didn't challenge him. Gabriel sighed, at least Maria, Andrei and Vsevolod were hopefully free of his murderous cruelty.

Maria ran into Gabriel's room, panting. "The Prince is demanding to know where you are! He didn't give you permission to leave his side! Please return to him or Andrei will occur his wrath..."

"Tell him I'm on my way but..."

"But what my lady?" Maria asked.

Gabriel slid the robe down and turned in pain. Maria choked on her breath as she saw the claw marks. "Is there anything else?"

"I'm bruised pretty bad and he...branded me," Gabriel said in a tired voice.

Maria said quickly, "I will let our Lord know that you are on your way and then get medicine for your injuries."

Gabriel shuffled through the long hall but the stairs were a killer. The girl climbed to the top and heard a loud thump. She saw Maria or in this case her limp body, slide across the waxed floor unconscious. Gabriel forgot about most of her pain and ran to Maria. Her fingers searched for a pulse and sighed when one was located.

Gabriel searched for Andrei and he was standing but injured. His arm was dislocated from be yanked roughly.

"Bodu! The stables! He's gone to kill my horse!"

"Yes, send my hound to protect the horse I bought you...". Vali hissed in her ear and flicked his wrist.

The young woman was flung across the floor but managed to land on her hands and knees due to knowing breakfall. Gabriel flinched when his hand grabbed the back of her neck, on the brand and picked her up, to set her on her feet.

"You didn't get permission to leave yet."

"Forgive me, Voivode Draganu I made an erroneous assumption you were finished with me," her words choked sounding.

"You were rude and spoke of treacherous deeds. Those words did not go unnoticed or unanswered. Drop the robe for punishment..."

"I ask collection on that favor already, please do not harm Vsevolod," Gabriel hissed in pain and immediately let the robe slip from her body and onto the polished floor.

The college student tried not to cry out in pain but Gabriel lost the battle. The girl was tired. Her first time with a man was not pleasant and he hurt her. She began to cry and covered her face to hide her shame.

The girl could feel her spirit breaking. She didn't want to fight him anymore. He had won... Gabriel swore she would stay strong and fight him but he wasn't human. She could never escape him. He wouldn't allow her to die... endless suffering. There seemed hope with a human, they slept and didn't regenerate.
