Gabriel awoke to warm sunlight coming into the room that Vali used as his office.  She leaped up and looked around.  The young woman grabbed what clothes she had been wearing and headed out the door to find the Prince.  She felt the utmost urgency to tell him about Alucard and what she had allowed to happen.

The girl ran to the kitchen to find out where Maria was.  The chef looked up.

“Pardon me, where is Maria?”

“Oui, elle is with Monsieur Vali and does not wish to be bothered…”

“Just where is he or you will be baking my kidneys in a pie?”  Gabriel said angrily.

“Mondur mademoiselle...his room in the basement!”

Merci beau coup...”she told as she tan out the door.

Gabriel found the staircase down and jumped three steps at a time.  Her mind remembered she had taken blood from Alucard and he took  from her.

Fuck!

Death was coming with the name of Vali.  Death was a funny thing.  If it was by her terms great but not by his time and terms.  She took a couple of deep breaths and knocked on the door..  Gabriel couldn’t hear anything like voices but could smell blood.  She knocked again.

“I am not to be disturbed!  Knock again I will drain you with utmost disregard for your miserable life!  Go now!” The Vampire shouted threateningly.

Gabriel closed her eyes.  Decisions, decisions, decisions: death by me or dragged out to torture games  and a slow death by a sadist?

She opened them and since she had been fed more blood, decided kicking the door in had a nice appeal to it.  It took two kicks then the door opened, damaged but still on its  hinges.  Vali raised his head, blood dripping from his mouth and stared at Angel.

“I choose ‘utmost disregard’ Lord Vali…”

“Of course you would.  I should expect nothing less from such a fierce little cottontail.” he said as he wiped his mouth, “What is so fucking urgent you feel I should know?”

“One of your creations outstayed his welcome is all….”

“And does this creation of mine have a name that he gave you?” Vali smirked.

“I thought the older a vampire got, the less messy a feeder?”  Gabriel asked with a raised eyebrow.  “Your upstart is English and named Alucard.”

“Hmmm, yes do run along Maria.  It seems your ‘adopted sister’ has rescued you from me.”  Vali smiled like a cat being nice to its play thing.  “Interesting?  How is it you managed to kick my door in so easily?  You took blood freely from him but… don’t from me?”

The No Life King shifted his body and was up to Gabriel as if he was the wind.  His slender fingers were around her throat.  He felt her swallow and was nervous but determined to answer his question.

Her eyes rose and met his.

“Weakness my lord.  Human frailty.  I failed to kill him and while he fucked me senseless he gave his blood to heal my wounds.  End of the story.  I came here as soon I woke up to tell you of my betrayal.  I accept that I am to be punished…”

Vali stood perfectly still and watched her.  She continued to look him in the eyes and waited.  Her hand slowly raised to his face and she stroked his cheek.  “Your eyes are a constant.  So beautiful like a storm in a sunset.  I am ready as I can ever be iubtel…”

His mouth came rapidly towards her throat, bearing all his teeth sharp and pointed.  Vali grazed her throat and left bleeding scratches but she didn’t struggle or scream.  His mouth settled behind her ear.  “Who fucks you better?  Him? Or me?”
