Katsuki

It's been days since Oreki's death. Katsuki took the reality harder than anyone else.

He keeps Oreki's stuff in a box that written "Touch this and I'll slay you"

He even keeps calling the action figure he got 'Oreki'. Even though it goes by the name of Katsuki Bakugo.

He locks himself in his room to watch anime while holding the action figure dearly. He would talk to it as if it Oreki.

The other kids start to think he's gone nuts. Some even believe Oreki's ghost is haunting Katsuki. 

Meanwhile, the caretaker just let him be so he can cool down a little bit. Yuki believes that Katsuki needs some alone time.

That night, after rewatching Demon Slayer episode 1, he notice that it's getting late. "Whoops! It's bedtime already. Let's continue tomorrow Oreki."

After turning off the computer and lights, Katsuki gets onto his bed and hugs the action figure. 

"Emm... Oreki. The truth is I didn't finish watching Demon Slayer yet. I knew about the characters from Google. I only read about their description. But this time, it's gonna be different! Because we're watching it together. Right?"

He asks a rhetorical question. But he believes Oreki would say yes.

"Thank you, Oreki" a sincere smile forms and Katsuki's eyes close. He will definitely have a sweet dream.

[IN ANOTHER WORLD]

..."Thank you, Oreki"...

My eyes open as a voice woke me up from my slumber. My eyes didn't hurt? Oh, it's nighttime. Everyone must have been asleep.

Hold on.

That voice... it's Katsuki's voice. Why am I able to hear this? He's thanking me? Does that mean he actually wants to be my friend?!! Aww.... why did I have to die at that moment? I want to say something like... you're welcome. What did you expect? I used to live with a poker face. Expressing something beyond that is complicated in my dictionary. Sigh. I can't find a way to communicate with him. Oh well, it can't be helped. I'll just continue sleeping.
