*Crack!*

Once the egg cracked, there was no dragon. Instead, it's a little girl with a dragon tail, arms, and legs. Her hair is shoulder-length and quite messy. Her red eyes glow in the cave that doesn't have any light source except the entrance.

She's looking for someone out of instinct, not fully know who she searched for. In her range of sight, she spotted three motionless beings. She rolled out from her eggshell and crawled to the nearest corpse. The corpse of a demon. She checked the claws, the teeth, the eyes, and the hair. She notices that the person doesn't have a tail like her. Neither did the other corpse. They don't even have claws and they were torn to several pieces. Not that she understands anyway.

(System: Warning! Your health is depleting due to hunger! Recommended eating meat!"

Somehow she was able to understand the mysterious floating screen... not really. She tilted her head, wondering what is meat.

She looks around again and sees three screens above the corpses that spell 'MEAT'.

With that guide, she learned something new. Her goal is clear, to eat that corp -... I-I mean meat.

The demon meat is fine but when she approaches the human meat... 

(System: Warning! This meat is damaged! Eating this will cause fatigue and nausea!)

Because of the warning, she didn't eat it. She didn't understand what the heck is fatigue or nausea. Having an appraisal skill is considered lucky, but being able to understand it even just a little bit on the first day she hatched is a miracle.

She rubbed her eyes and yawned. The only part that she consumed is an arm from the demon. She will save the best part for later.

... 

"Ss... Ssscy... System!" After a few failed attempts, the little girl had spoken her first word.

The reason she called out for the system is for one reason. The demon is now a pile of bones. She's starving.

Step 2, Sneak around until you find monsters

Step 3, Determine their strength

Step 4, Fight or flight

Step 5, Hunt some more or give up

Step 6, Return to your shelter with meat or empty-handed

Step 7, Continue living or die starving
