The title says it. I'M HOME! I'VE NEVER FELT SO ALIVE! 

No, I'm actually around 1.5 kilometres from my hometown. I'm just too excited to meet my family. Since I used the forest route, I'm two times faster than before. Did I encounter any demons? It would be a lie if I say no. They're all easily annihilated. A piece of cake! So far, I didn't encounter any Twelve Demon Moons. How fortunate.

But, as my food stock decreasing, I have to stop by several stores to buy some food,...which is such a pain since I have to use a longer route rather than the 'straight' forest route. My appetite is monstrous because I'm Kyojuro's twin. Oh well, I'm here now. The past is in the past. Let it go~

Oh yeah, about my sleeping cycle, I think I can fix that later.

*birds chirping*

*rustling tree leaves*

*Yoru's footsteps sound*

Ah...What a peaceful evening. How should I greet them? Hmm... 

Then, a sudden idea pops into my head. Heheheheh...  It's gonna be... surprising~

Kyojuro's POV

I've been waiting for oniichan's arrival since the Final Selection ended. At first, I was worried if oniichan didn't make it but I immediately denied such negative thoughts. Oniichan is strong! He will definitely come back with the smile of victory!... Oh yeah, he can't smile even if he wants to. But that's okay! He has a strong burning passion in his heart! He also acknowledges me and Obanai-Kun!

One day, a Kasugai crow flew to us. Obanai-Kun and I got panicked if something bad happened to oniichan. Father... his face... he's on verge of tears. Oh no! What happened? Tell us already!

"KAW! KAW! I've got a message from Yoru Rengoku! KAW! He said, 'I've passed the Final Selection. It'll take a while for me to return as I will stop by several places. I expect that I might return in the evening. When I return, I want to see if my otouto and Obanai-Kun get stronger. I will review their skills.' KAW! That's it! KAW!"

I... can't hold it much longer, oniichan..." ONIICHAN IS ALIVE! HE PASSED!"

Obanai-Kun and I hug each other tightly. We're crying in happiness. He made it! That's my oniichan! Then, an extra party joined our hugs. When I open my eyes, I saw father and mother hugging us too. Little Senjuro got squeezed in the middle of the hug.

"Mom! Senjuro-Kun is being squeezed!" My sudden outburst gained mom's attention. She hurriedly saves Senjuro from this strong hug of ours. The three of us apologise. Luckily, Senjuro doesn't suffer any possible injuries.

Since that day, Obanai-Kun and I practised several basic moves every morning. We must at least reach the minimum of oniichan's expectations! Even if it means our hands ache so badly.

Days had passed, every evening, I will keep staring at the front entrance, hoping oniichan will suddenly appear.

"Kyojuro-Kun, when will Yoru-Kun return? I can't wait to show him my new moves!" Obanai happily swings his wooden training sword, which is carved to look like a slithering snake.

"It's just been a week. Father said that oniichan might return the next week. Just be patient. Besides, Fujikasane Mountain is so far away!"

"*Sigh...* Yeah, I agree," A sudden voice said.
