The duo arrives at the scene, receiving multiple reactions. Tanjiro is shocked to see the demon he met yesterday... came with a friend that looks just like Rengoku-san. Kyojuro is relieved to see his twin again after a long time yet he still worries about the changes in the atmosphere. Something feels wrong.
Akaza... well... he's furious at the moment he sees 'that' face.
"Ohayo A-K-A-Z-A chan~"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU BASTARD?!! DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?!!" Others are surprised to learn that they knew each other. But only Katsuki and Akaza himself knew the truth. Akaza mistook him as Doma. That time, Katsuki had a bad temper and almost killed him with a kunai knife, which belongs to Oreki. Akaza couldn't take the fact that he's being reckless. It left a scar on his pride.
"Ne... don't be so mean! By the way, did my nii-san got killed yet?" Katsuki makes an innocent face.
"WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME ABOUT THAT ASSHOLE?!!"
"So he's alive after all. Thanks for telling!" Katsuki clasps both of his palms together and smiles.
Seeing that smile, Akaza is irritated beyond compare. "I'LL PUMMEL YOU TO DEATH'S DOOR!" Akaza punches his way out from the roots.
Katsuki had a sour face. He's clearly unhappy.

"Tsk! I'm just trying to be nice." Katsuki actually wants to act as nice as possible in front of Oreki, his source of happiness. He turns his head towards Oreki and smiles meaningfully. "O-R-E-K-I~"
"No. I'll fight him instead." Oreki fully understands what Katsuki wants. Killing Akaza himself. But the Demon Slayers are bleeding. And someone needs to stop it. "Use your ice to help them."
Katsuki pouts. "Aww... okay. But first..." Katsuki moves past Akaza in the blink of an eye. Right now, he's standing in front of bleeding Kyojuro with Akaza's right arm in his mouth. "I'll have a snack~," Akaza notices that his arm is missing. He regenerates and glares at Katsuki with rage.
"Oi, where are you looking at? Your opponent is right here." Akaza's attention shifts to Oreki.
He smirks. "Oh? Didn't notice you earlier. That bastard distracted me. Since Kyojuro is in a bad shape, I would be delighted to fight his doppelganger. Let's see if you could last long enough." Oreki turns his head to find if there's any living being that looks like Kyojuro. His mind clicked the answer. He IS Kyojuro's doppelganger. All this time, he thought those reflections in his mindscape are fake.
"Don't judge me because of THIS face. Am I a joke to you? Do I look weak to you?" His voice is darker than before. It somehow reminds Akaza of a certain Demon. Akaza didn't see his fighting spirits so he's not sure how dangerous this person is. He activates his compass needle and it spins multiple times as if it's broken.
