chapter 8

 When the sun was finally rising, and my wolf let me be in control again I headed back home. When I got there the sun was up and I shifted back to human form and walked inside. Everyone was already in their rooms probably sleeping. I went to straight to the fridge, even know my wolf hunted a few rabbits I was still hungry. I hurry up and eat whatever I could find and went to take a shower and get some much needed sleep.

' I was in the woods by a familiar lake, I was in my human form and wondering where I was and how I got there when I heard someone call my name from behind me. At first I was hesitant to turn around and find out who it was, when I did I was staring into the eyes of my mother.

" Casandra, my beautiful daughter." She looked me over with a look of amazement.

"m-mom" I said completely shocked.

" Sweaty, we need to talk, we don't have much time and there is some things you need to know." She said seriously.

" But how are you here, you you died" I was almost crying when she put her arms around me in a tight hug. When she pulled away I could still feel her warmth.

" Lets walk" she said grabbing my hand and pulling me with her as she stared walking away.

" Cassie, you need to know about the girl you discovered is your mate." I looked at her confused as she continued stopping.

" She is not what you think..."

" She is a vampire, I know" I interrupted her.

" No Cassie listen, there is a prophecy. Your father and I found out about this the day before the accident. The prophecy goes like this. The goddess will pair two different species, a hybrid and a werewolf, both female. It will be a test to see if hybrids will be allowed in the future, but the hybrid shall not understand that she is part wolf until her mate awakens her wolf. There for her mate will need to guide her through the new world she has discovered." she explained.

" I don't understand what does this have to do with me?" I asked.

"Kira is your mate, she is a hybrid Cassie, now there is more to the prophecy  but we are almost out of time so you will find out in time" she said giving me another hug and kiss when she started fading away.

" Mom no, where are you going, mom please come back, don't leave me again" I screamed, tears running down my cheeks."

I woke up drenched in sweet, and my cheeks sticky with dried tears. I sat up and looked at the clock it read 2pm. Then the dream came back to me. what the hell this is so much to take in first i find my mate who at first was just a vampire now she is a werewolf, not to mention a girl. In all my life so far I would have never imagined my mate being a girl, when I was young all I ever dreamed of was having a mate and a family but now I don't even know if that is possible. I Laid  back and thought about it for a while. When I finally decided to go for a run to calm down a little. I got up and put on my running outfit wich was a pair of grey sweets and a grey sports bra, then headed to the back yard.
