Chapter 2 - Here we go!

On the day itself, Paige and Mith were awkward. It seemed really bad at first.

But honestly? They clicked like a jigsaw puzzle.

We brought our stuff up to our hotel room and they were shocked to find out there were only two beds. I wasn’t surprised. I knew that there were only two beds. And It’s part of my marvellous plan.

I asked them if they minded sharing a bed. Paige asked why she couldn’t share a bed with me. I said that I didn’t like tight spaces. They couldn’t reject it.

After sorting out our things, I brought them down to the beach. They were walking close to each other, laughing about jokes. I didn’t know why, but I had a sense of jealousy in me.

Perhaps it was because we were a trio, and obviously one of us would be left out. I could of easily invited more people, but since this was a match make, I had to tolerate it.

At the beach, we were playing around in the huge oceans. I pretended to bump into Paige and she was falling backwards into the waves. Almost immediately, Mith caught hold of her hand. They were both blushing.

“I am so sorry, Paige! I didn’t see you there!” I said.

“It-It’s fine.” She mumbled, still blushing.

“Why were you so careless? Paige could have been injured!” Mith mentioned.

“It’s not like I did it on purpose.” I said, acting to be pissed off.

“If she actually got injured, I would have gotten mad at you.” He said, while holding on to Paige.

A part of me was tingling in jealously. Why are they so lovey-dovey?

After a long day, we went back to hotel room, drenched from the sea. I had left Paige’s towel in the hotel on purpose.

“Where’s my towel, Wife?” She asked while standing in the cold.

“Oh, I think I left it in the hotel! I’m so sorry!” I said, while covering myself with my towel.

“Here you go, Paige.” Mith said while covering Paige with his towel.

It’s working out.

“T-Thank you, Mith.” She said, both blushing and smiling.

As we went back to the hotel room, I was walking really fast, just so they could be alone. I could hear laughing and giggling coming from behind. A part of me wanted to be there. With them, enjoying this trip.

As I opened the door of the hotel room, I saw her towel on the bed.

“There it is!” I shouted.

They both cracked in to a chain of laughter. This plan is going better than I expected. Paige had wanted to stay in the hotel room for dinner. I volunteered to go down to get her food and asked Mith to come along.

“But.. I’ll be scared if you both go out..” Paige said in embarrassment.

“I’ll stay with you then, Paige.” Mith said, and walked towards the bed she was on.

“Thanks, Mith. Wife, I’ll count on you to get me food. Love you!” Paige yelled.

I forced a smile and walked out of the hotel room, in to the darkness. Why couldn’t Mith follow me? How I wished that he would go with me, I’m scared too..
