Y/N'S POV Today is a great day, well not to say it's the best day ever. Today, finally, after two years, I'm gonna return back home, to Seoul.
It results that two years ago, I participated in a competition in order to win a scholarship and study in the States... At first it was the best idea ever, but just when before leaving Korea, I made a promise with someone really important. Hwang Yeji.
The day where I was leaving to the States, she waited for me until I headed outside my house, and once I was standing in front of her, she confessed her feelings to me.
That really made me happy, even more than the scholarship that I won, but of course, there wasn't any way back and I had to leave.
And that's the reason why we promised that once I returned back from my studies abroad, we would be together...
So yeah, two years happened since that day... And today I'm finally arriving back to Seoul, ugh, I'm craving to see Yeji... I mean, I'm sure that she's still as beautiful as always...
Hey, what about me?! Will she still like me?! I got taller, is that okay with her?! And I cut my hair too... Damn, what if she doesn't like my new look?
Ugh, I'm probably just overreacting, I need to calm myself *deartravelers, we inform youthatwe'lllandin ten minutes, pleaseputyourbelts on* I scream because it rest no time to arrive, everyone looks at me and I apologize. God, I got nervous.
-Time skip ten minutes later-
We finally landed! Yeah! Here we go, Shin Y/N is back home guys! I grab my suitcase and look for someone familiar at the airport...
Why can't I find Yeji? Where is she? I thought that she knew about my arrival... I mean, she used to ask me about it a lot while I was in the States...
-Girl: Y/N! -Y/N: Ye- Yuna?! (confused) -Yuna: Big brother! (runs to you and hugs you tight) I missed you~ -Y/N: Yo, you are about to break my back... (chuckles) I missed you too (smiles) -Yuna: How was the flight? Are you tired? Mom and dad prepared a great dinner for you today (smiles) they are sure that you missed Korean food so- -Y/N: Yo, yo, yo... Keep calm, too much questions at once... (smiles) Where is she? -Yuna: Who? (smiles awkwardly) -Y/N: Oh c'mon, stop messing around with your older brother... Where's Yeji? (smiles) -Yuna: Probably at her house? Y/N oppa, you know, tomorrow we have school so... -Y/N: Oh right, it makes sense (smiles) She needs to rest for tomorrow... Well, then I'm gonna pick her up and bring her to school... It'll be a great surprise, right? -Yuna: Y-Yeah, probably... (smiles) -Y/N: Well, let's go then... I'm craving to eat something... My stomach has been growling for quite a while already... We then head back home, and there, mom and dad prepared such a long table filled with lots of different Korean dishes... This is amazing!
-Y/N: Agh, you don't know how much did I miss this! (drooling) -Dad: Attack already son, you deserve it, you've made such a great job far away home (smiles) -Y/N: Thanks appa (smiles)
I then start eating along dad, when I notice that Yuna and mom are quite silent... What's wrong with them? I thought we were celebrating?
-Y/N: (places food on Yuna's plate) C'mon, you need to eat as well (smiles) -Yuna: Thanks oppa (smiles) -Y/N: Aish, you are still a little kid huh? (smiles and pats her head) -Mom: Yuna, help me bring something from the kitchen, please (smiles) -Yuna: Yeah... (smiles and gets up) -Y/N: Eomma, let Yuna have dinner, I'll help you (smiles) -Mom: No, no, dear... Just enjoy your meal, your sister has been eating the whole afternoon while waiting for you... (smiles) -Y/N: Yuna... I told you thousand times to wait for dinner and not to eat that much snacks... (chuckles) I guess you didn't change anything... I thought you would be more mature, bug I was wrong- -Yuna: (hits your arm) Control what you say oppa... I'm a whole grown up woman now... (smiles) -Y/N: I'm sorry, I'm sorry... (smiles)
YUNA'S POV Mom calls me to the kitchen, with the excuse that she needs me to help her. But I know exactly what's going on... She wants to ask me if he knows about it or not...
-Mom: So, did you tell him? -Yuna: I was going to... I really thought of telling him... But he looked really happy when he arrived (sighs) he asked for her... (looks down) -Mom: Yuna, you know that he needs to know... What are we going to do once he finds out? Huh? -Yuna: Mom, we can't tell him straight neither... I feel really guilty and sorry for him... How am I supposed to tell him that she forgot everything? Huh? How am I going to tell him that she has someone new? -Mom: Yuna... This will hurt your brother, we must protect him... If you don't tell him, at least make sure that he doesn't find out about it... -Yuna: Not possible, he's planning to pick her up tomorrow, I think that he needs to find out by himself... Y/N'S POV We continue on having dinner until I fill full. Then I look at my watch, to realize that it's already late... I should go to sleep if I want to pick up Yeji tomorrow...
-Y/N: Appa, eomma, dear little sister Yuna... I had such a great meal and I'm really full, but I need to go to sleep... (smiles) -Mom: Sleep? Already? Stay with us a little bit longer... -Y/N: Mom, tomorrow I need to do something really important... Plus, Yuna has also school, she needs to head to sleep as well, right? (smiles) -Yuna: W-Well... I don't need that much hours to rest so- -Y/N: So goodnight (chuckles) C'mon, to your room... (smiles) Goodnight~
I head to my room and set the alarm for tomorrow... I can't belive that you are making me wait longer Yeji... But anyway, what is a day compared to two whole years? I'm craving to see you tomorrow...
