A primitive fish, haikouicthys was the size of a fingernail and had a serpentine shape. It was one of our ancestors, but a scavenger and an easy meal for the mighty anomalocaris. They died out later on, but left of a descendant, who would one day evolve into a convenient, strategy-using ape called man.
