Although similar to anomalocaris, it was not one of the anomalocaridids as it is only closely related. It had five eyes and a long pole of a mouth, on which was a huge ball with a hole in it. It was among the largest creatures in the Cambrian (despite being distinctly small) but if you were bigger, it would be easy prey.
