Sarchosuchus was a prehistoric alligator and the biggest crocodilian ever. A close contender was deinosuchus, who was a little bit smaller. It would clash with Spinosaurus. It ate huge fish like the giant sawfish. Like Spinosaurus, it was a close contender for largest carnivorous reptile of all time. The sea eventually came flooding into the freshwater, killing off anything too dependant on the sea.
