When the dinosaurs arose they were under the shadow of larger beasts. Among them was the crocodile relative postosuchus. It was a savage monster that had a taste for Dino flesh. It had razor-teeth and the crocodilian armour, but it belonged to another group known as the rauisuchians. At the end of the Triassic an extinction event occurred, causing the rauisuchians to go extinct.
