When Charlie learned that (Y/n) had gotten a VR headset (and figured out what VR was) Charlie was actually surprisingly eager to use the thing. (Y/n) was excited too he actually wanted Charlie to try it out too and was relieved to know he didn't have to try to convince her.
(Y/n) insisted Charlie wore something different than her usual business suit so Charlie put on workout clothes much to (Y/n) delight. (Y/n) helped Charlie put on the headset and gave a brief crash course of how to use the controls
(Y/n)'s first thought was to make Charlie play a horror game on VR but decided otherwise he already was a pain in her ass when it came to video games.
Charlie played a multitude of games but her favourite was Beat Saber it was so much fun! She was actually quite skilled and had quick reflexes.
Charlie learned the beat to Imagine Dragon's Radioactive the best so she played that song over and over then playing other songs and learning the beat pretty quickly.
Charlie and (Y/n) would compete on a song to see who could get the highest score (Since (Y/n) actually had two headsets and another PC)
(Y/n) and Charlie both were really good and very competitive over songs one barely beating the other sometimes they were almost in sync playing the same songs and hitting the same boxes at the same time.
Since the lobby of the hotel had the most space they played there and had drawn quite the crowd of their friends who watched the battle of wills.
Even Alastor found it interesting tapping his foot along to the beat with his usual grin as he watched them both slice in half the musical boxes.
Angel wanted to give it a try too but was told to wait, Husk made bets with those who would participate on which of the lovers would win.
Everybody at the hotel cheered one of them on as they played either for bet money or friendly support.
They both played Monster by Skillet to decide who was the winner and neither of them gave in sweating and flailing their arms to hit the boxes in the correct direction. (Y/n) and Charlie panted at the end of the song, as they watched to see who won.
Charlie was the winner.
Charlie squealed with joy and bounced on her feet making (Y/n) chuckle.
"Now for your reward." (Y/n) just stated as he pulled her into a deep kiss one that, once separated made Charlie stumble with a smile on her face.
"Wanna go again?" Charlie asked with a grin.
"You're on!" (Y/n) grinned as they readied to play another song.
