*November 22*

"We're gonna be late if you don't hurry the fuck up!" Natalie exclaimed at David who was currently grabbing his bags from the trunk.

"Want me to sign in?" Juniper asked Natalie, wanting time help the stressed girl as much as possible.

The three we're currently on their way to Vernon Hills.

After a couple months of dating, David's parents had told him to invite Juniper over for thanksgiving, which he thought it'd be too early for her to spend holidays with his family, but much to his surprise she gladly accepted.

Juniper's family didn't mind since they didn't really celebrate the holiday, but did make Juniper promise she'd be home for Christmas. Which of course she did.

"Please?" Natalie sighed out, giving Juniper all the information she needed.

Soon, the three were all at the terminal with only minutes before they finished boarding.

"Right on time." The flight attendant chuckled at the gasping adults who just ran across the whole airport from customs. She scanned the three tickets, "oh first class, follow me." She smiled, walking down to another entrance of the plane. The three followed, all feeling relieved that they made the flight on time.

The attendant lead them to the first class part of the plane, and showed them their seats, David and Juniper on one side, and  Natalie on the row beside them.

"Okay we made it." Juniper sighed out with relief, leaning back against the very comfortable seat.

David looked over at her and smiled, "Yup." He reached over and grabbed Juniper's hand, pulling it up to his mouth and placing a kiss. "Thank you for agreeing on coming, my family's so excited to meet you." He said softly, making a smile appear on Juniper's face.

"Of course, Dave. I'm a little nervous to meet them if I'm being honest though."

David furrowed his brows, and a laugh escaped his lips. "Why? My siblings love you already, and my parents are so excited to meet you. They'll love you." He reassured.

"That's the thing, if they're so excited to meet me, what if I make a bad first impression?" She asked, causing David to roll his eyes. "Babe, you'll be fine. Just be yourself, don't try to be the perfect person. They're going to love you."

Juniper smiled softly and nodded, "Okay, you're right." She said before leaning her head back. "Get some sleep, we'll be there in a couple hours." David whispered, leaning over and placing a kiss on her cheek before pulling out his laptop to edit.

Juniper smiled softly at the kiss, and put in her headphones turning on her playlist and letting sleep take over her body.

After a couple hours, Juniper woke up. The flight still had about two hours til' landing, and David was fast asleep.

Juniper looked over David and glanced at Natalie who was watching something on her phone, cuddled with a blanket.

She decided to just watch a movie she downloaded to pass up the time, so she pulled her phone out and plugged her headphones in, clicking play on Marley and Me.
