It was the evening before Juniper Stone would be embarking her journey to Italy, but she was currently in a situation she'd never thought, or hoped she'd be in. "How Can you do This?! You can't just up and leave Juniper!" Jeff raised his voice at the girl who looked up at him in shock.

She hasn't been in an argument with Jeff since high school and now she remembered how much she hated it.

But this argument happening had no reason, and no blame on her. Which is why she was only angered at Jeff's intention of saying this trip was a bad thing.

Jeff had his doubts about the trip, and figured that maybe Juniper would come to her senses and not accept the trip. As selfish as it sounded, he wanted her here in LA, close to him or David where he knew she was safe.

But out there? She has no one. No one to protect her or comfort her.

He couldn't help but feel anxiety, and nerves at the thought of his best friend so far away. He's already spent years apart from her, he didn't know if he could last 3 weeks without her.

"Up and leave? Jeff you were the first one to know about this trip! If anything you should be supporting me the most!" Juniper said roughly, getting to the point where she was going to raise her voice as well.

How could Jeff just suddenly get angry at her with a decision he knew was hard to make? She thought she had his full support on this.

"Juniper, this is Italy we're talking about! Fucking Europe! It's not a small little trip to New York! How could you have made such a big decision in no time?!" Jeff stated loudly, walking closer to Juniper and throwing his hand in some random direction.

"Because this is my fucking dream Jeff! It's three weeks, not three months! You know how bad I've wanted something like this!" Juniper yelled, not believing what was happening right now.

"How could I have known that you didn't want me to take this job? You were acting supportive, even offered to drive me to the damn airport!" She continued, pointing a finger to Jeff's chest.

Jeff stood there, with his face stone cold. It hurt him too bad to see Juniper's broken eyes.

He couldn't bear himself in the same room as her right now, he was too disappointed and angry at himself.

Juniper was right, he did know how bad she wanted this, and acted supportive even though he really didn't want her to take the job.

"I'm going to David's, because if you can't support me on this decision, at least I know he does." Juniper scoffed, stepping back from Jeff and walking off to her bedroom, slamming the door behind her so she could gather her luggage for the trip and head to David's house earlier than expected.

Sorrow ran through Juniper'a veins as she cried into David's chest. All the stress and anger from the argument finally releasing from her body.

"We haven't yelled at each other like that in years David. It was scary, it was like seeing the old side of him." Juniper whimpered as her and David laid in his bed in the dark, his arms wrapped securely around her as he just listened to the girl talk.

It shocked him that the two could've gotten in such a serious argument. Sure he had witnessed their small little bickers, but he didn't think they'd ever fight like how Juniper was describing it.
