Mae's family and Niya's son, Niko, was teleported to Universe Seven's Earth, once again making the boy dizzy. He felt strange being in a different timeline, but he had to accustom himself. His goal was to become stronger with Mae as his teacher, and he planned to do just that and beyond.

As they arrived, Jiren received a call from Toppo saying they needed his help in universe eleven, leaving Mae and the twins with Niko.

"Chi, Gicchin why don't you guys go with Grandpa and see Grandma Chi-Chi," Mae said. They nodded and took off with Goku. "Okay Niko, so I told your mom that we'd also keep up with your studies so we are gonna go see Gohan."

Niko made a face. "What? Do I really gotta?"

"Just for like an hour a day or whatever," Mae shrugged. "It'll be good for you. Maybe Gohan can teach you strategy stuff. He's good at that."

"I didn't know Gohan liked to study," Niko thought back of what everyone had told him about the saiyan. "I just heard he was very brave."

"He is very brave," Mae nodded. "Even since we were little he wanted to be a scholar. In your timeline though he didn't get to achieve that dream because of the circumstances."

"Oh, yeah, the monsters," Niko replied. He hadn't thought about how different the timelines were. "Okay, then, since mom is gonna be mad if I don't do it."

"Better to just do it," Mae laughed. "My mom was like that when I was a kid. I never had any interest in studying but she wanted me to learn. I figured it was better and easier to give in to what she wanted. Once I was in high school though I dropped out." She explained as they flew to Gohan's house.

Niko shrugged. "Yeah, mom thinks it important. She said she had to learn English when she about as old as me, so maybe that's why mom talks funny sometimes," he explained. "So, sure, as long as she lets you train me, I'll do it."

Mae chuckled. Once they arrived at Gohan's she walked into the door without knocking. "Gohan!" She called out.

"Mae?" Videl came into the hallway. "What's up?"

"Gohan here?" Mae asked.

"Yeah he's in the study," Videl showed them down the hall.

"Thanks!" Mae smiled and burst into Gohan's office.

Niko looked around curiously, tucking his tail away under his shirt.

"Mae you know you could knock," Gohan sighed before looking at Niko. "Who is this?"

"This is Niko. He is Niya's son. I'm gonna be training him, But I was wondering if you can teach him school stuff," Mae said bringing Niko closer to Gohan.

Gohan inspected the boy, "did Mae kidnap you or something?"

Niko looked indifferent. "No, I asked her to train me, but my mom wants me to study, too." He sounded disappointed, but knew his mom wouldn't approve of his behavior. "O-Oh, and, um, nice to meet you, Gohan."

"It's nice to meet you too," Gohan smiled at him. "Sure I can teach you. What do you wanna learn?"

"I dunno, school stuff," Niko replied. "I'm in fourth grade."

Gohan thought for a moment, "okay, I think we can work something out. Is there anything in particular you like learning about?"

Niko was silent for a moment, but as he saw sunlight peering in from a window, he saw the greenery outside. "I guess I like nature." He remembered his camping trips and lessons with his father, who adored the wildlife.

"Very nice!" Gohan exclaimed. "Okay, I think we can work with that and find a good lesson plan. I can teach you for a little bit every day after I finish work."
