The next morning when Niko woke up, Jiren had both twins with him. "I'll see you later," he gave Mae a quick kiss before disappearing.

"Niko what do you want for breakfast?" Mae asked sensing him from the hall.

Niko rubbed his eyes, and shrugged. "I dunno. Leggo my eggo waffles?" He thought about the eggo waffles from a commercial he had seen.

"I don't know what that is but I can make you waffles." Mae said pulling some flour and eggs out. Within a few minutes a plate of waffles was in front of Niko. "How's this?"

Niko tried them and nodded curtly. "This is good. Thanks a bunch." He continued to rub his left eye and held in a yawn. He forced himself to remain composed. "Oh, I forgot to say good morning, huh? Good morning, Mae."

Mae snorted. "Good morning Niko. You seem tired. Did I go too hard on you yesterday? Did Jiren?"

Niko shook his head. "Nahh, I'm good. I feel so good. Oh my Kami, these waffles are awesome! Better than leggo my eggo!" He was acting funny from the lack of sleep.

"Should I call my dad and tell him you are too tired to help with the farm?" Mae eyed him.

Niko pinched himself, waking himself up more. "No, I'm okay," he assured her. "The... The grind never stops, right?"

"I suppose. Alrighty hurry up and get dressed. If we are late my mom will kill me," Mae clapped her hands together.

Niko was startled by the sound. "Y-Yes, ma'am!" He hurried to his room and fitted on something comfortable that he wouldn't mind getting dirty. He decided on a same white long sleeves, grey shirt, but chose some shorts and black boots.

Once he was ready they headed to Goku and Chi-Chi's home. They found Goku and Chi-Chi standing near a large field with many vegetables ready for harvest.

Niko landed and waved to them. He forced himself to focus. "Good morning." He couldn't afford to mess up.

"Morning!" Goku said eagerly.

"Oh Mae is this your new student?" Chi-Chi asked looking closer at the boy. "He looks exhausted! You've been too rough on him haven't you!"

"Well..." Mae laughed.

Niko shook his head. "I'm fine. If I don't train hard, I won't get stronger," he answered firmly.

"Well if you say so," Chi-Chi pursed her lips.

"Okay Niko you gotta harvest all these crops and put them in that bin," Mae said pointing.

Niko nodded. "Okay. No problem." He rolled up his sleeves, tightened his tiny ponytail, and began the harvesting. It wasn't so bad, but there were a lot of crops. Looking at them all would make anyone weary, however, Niko persisted without a word. As long as he would busy, he would forget about everything else. He even got to humming as he harvested.

"Mae let's train!" Goku said.

"Okay!" Mae nodded. Before Chi-Chi could protest they were up in the air attacking each other.

Niko momentarily stopped to look at the saiyans with a weird look. "I thought we were suppose to be working?" he raised a brow. He tossed some crops into the bin and continued.

"They were supposed to help you but I guess they'd rather fight each other. I swear one of these days," Chi-Chi complained.

Niko shrugged. "It's okay, ma'am. I don't mind working on my own. I'll be okay," he smiled. The constant movement had woken him up. He continues to hum and work through his spread muscles from the previous days.
