When he arrived, Gohan was waiting for him. "I sensed your energy," he said as he opened the door. "Oh wow, what happened to you?!" Gohan gasped at the shape Niko was in.

Niko looked down at himself since he had no idea how he looked. "I don't get it. Is there something on my face?" he felt around frantically. He felt fine since the fatigue hadn't hit him yet.

"What the hell did my sister do to you?" Gohan asked. "You look like you've gone through hell."

Niko shrugged. "Training. I learned about saiyan pride today," he smiled.

"Oh, so she went all Vegeta on you," Gohan sighed.

"I guess so," Niko scratched his head. "But training time is over for now. What are you gonna teach me today?"

"Today, I was thinking we could do some stuff regarding different ecological statistics. I grabbed some books from the university that we can look over," Gohan explained as he led him into the office.

"The eco--what?" Niko made a face.

"So plants and animals work together to form an ecosystem. That includes humans and the food chain. I was thinking that we can look over numbers and figure out how different numbers of -- say deer -- can affect -- say the population of saber cats," Gohan explained.

Niko nodded slowly. "Okay. That sounds interesting," he smiled softly.

"Great, let's get to it then," Gohan beamed.

Gohan and Niko studied until the boy's head felt like it was going to split open. The animal relationships and numbers was a challenging topic to absorb, but Niko managed. His hand felt like it was going to fall off after the lesson. He stretched and shook his hands. "Whew! That was a lot...," Niko rubbed his head.

"Was it too much? We can look into easier stuff," Gohan asked as he copied Niko's notes.

"Nah, I don't like easy stuff," Niko shook his head.

"Okay great," Gohan smirked as he handed back the notebook. "Study these notes and write a report. Tomorrow, I have a meeting, and then I'm training with Piccolo, so I'll see you the day after."

Suddenly Goku appeared. "Hey Niko! I'm here to take you home. Mae passed out, and Jiren is still in Universe Eleven."

Niko's eyes widened. "Um, okay," he replied to Goku. He turned to Gohan, "And okay. That sounds good."

"Thanks for coming dad," Gohan waved.

Goku used his instant transmission to bring them to a ramen shop. "I'm guessin you are hungry?"

Niko felt his stomach churn and burn at the thought and smell of food. "Y-Yeah, I guess I am," he replied, placing a hand on his stomach.

Goku clapped him on the shoulder. "Rough training today?" They went in and sat down.

Niko remembered for a moment before nodding. "Uh huh. Mae really beat me up in the morning. I think she said my ribs almost broke or something. I dunno, I was bleeding and stuff," he explained nonchalantly, trying to act composed in front Goku.

"Wow, you must have pissed her off," Goku laughed. "She really should learn restraint."

Niko shrugged. "At least she's not easy with me, 'cause if she was, that'd be no fun," he frowned, thinking of his mother and Trunks.

"Well, that's true. I mean you've managed two whole forms in the short amount of time you've been here," Goku pointed out, slurping up ramen. "But Mae isn't the type to hold back. I imagine she's trying to draw out your power little by little while also honing your skills. You should get her to teach you the Kamehameha."
