I found them in the middle of the main hall.
"Hey." I said to Andrew, poking his shoulder.
"Oh, hey. Guys, this is my new little sister Brynne." He announced, ruffling my hair.
"Stop it you dork." I said, smacking his hand away.
"Hey lil B." One of them said.
"Hot." I heard another mumble.
"True." Agreeing with the one who called me hot.
"Okay so this is Logan, Harry, Luke, Cole..." Andrew started but I had already tuned out. I tuned back in at the end of the names, "Ian and Gavin."
"There's no way in hell I'm going to remember any of those right now, but hi." I said.
"What's your first class?" Andrew asked.
"English in room 210."
"I have that class too." One of the guys that I didn't remember the name of said.
"Take her with you there, Gavin. Please I don't want her getting lost on her first day."
"I am perfectly capable of getting places myself you incompetent dick." I crossed my arms.
"Okay then Sherlock. How do you get there?" Andrew asked.
"You just... You just... Um..."
"See? Just let Gavin go with you." Andrew said. I glanced over at which one was Gavin. My jaw almost dropped because of just pure hotness. I wouldn't mind him walking me to class actually.
"Fine." I sighed. While we were going to the class I took in his height and face. I was average height and he was a lot above. He had a good 8 or 9 inches on me. He had dark brown, almost black hair and it came to a quiff in the front but it had gotten a little messy and a few pieces had fallen down onto his face. It was hot. Everything about his everything was hot.
"It's just right up here." He said, snapping me out of my trans. "So where did you come from?"
"I dunno." I said. "Kind of everywhere. My dad was always moving. I never even got to go to school. He taught me." I needed to tell someone the truth. Even through my sweater I could barely see my tattoo marking me as "011" and it was killing me. "Can I tell you something?" I asked.
"Sure?" He said, looking at me. God, his eyes were even sexy.
"I actually got tested on. I know noting of my past, just that it was erased 'for the better'." I locked eyes with him. "You aren't going to remember any of this. You will go on with your day not even remembering talking to me." I said and took a deep breath. I was kind of proud of myself for having compelled people twice today.
"Come here." Gavin grabbed my arm and pulled into a corridor with nobody in it.
"What? Why?" I protested and tried to fight out of his grip.
"Did you just tried to compel me?" He whispered.
My mind wracked for an answer, but nothing came out of my mouth. Why didn't he forget what I had said?
