"Brynne fought someone today." Gavin almost yelled as soon as we got in the car.

"Gavin!" I screeched.

"Oooo. Who was it? Samantha?" Andrew guessed.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"Just assumed."

"Please don't tell Diana." I begged.

"I won't, as long as the principal doesn't call her."

"Oh, he won't." I could feel Gavin's smirk behind me and I wanted to punch him.

"Gavin, did you compel him?" Andrew asked and my jaw dropped.

"Eh."

"Wait..." I paused. "You know about him?" I questioned.

"Yeah, of course. We've been buds for a while and I'm just gonna have to guess he told you too." Andrew knows. Andrew knows. Does that mean I can trust him too?

"I can compel people too." I blurted out. "My eyes turn black when I'm angry. I don't even know who I am."

"That insane guy did the same thing to you?" Andrew asked.

"Yeah."

"So my sister is a demon, and my best friend is a wizard."

"Pretty much. It's hilarious when she gets mad and her face gets red and her eyes turn black. She really is a demon when you add that to her personality." Gavin laughed.

"Shut up! I am NOT a demon nor will I be! So just shut up!" The two idiots in the car started laughing and wouldn't stop. "STOP!"

"Your eyes do turn really black." Andrew laughed.

"She is satan. Her eyes are black and her face is red. Now for the devil horns."

"You aren't even funny." I tried to calm down but my face was burning. They wouldn't stop laughing at their own dumb jokes.

"More like satan's main hoe."

"She seems like more of a side hoe."

I crossed my arms and stared out the window, hoping to burn a hole through the glass like I had laser vision.

"Sorry Brynne." They said in unison, trying to control their laughter.

"Okay." I was still hella pissed.

We drove in silence the rest of the way home. They both knew how I handled situations when I was angry. So it was best for the jackasses to keep their mouthes sealed tight because or else I might punch them, just like Samantha.

"We're here." Andrew got out of the car.

"Here you go, Miss." Gavin said sarcastically, opening my door for me.

"Thank you, what a gentleman." I rolled my eyes.

"Sorry to not please you, babe." He winked.

"Don't call me that." I slammed my door, still pissed at him saying I'm more like a side hoe. My feet thumped against the floor when I walked into the house.

"Where should we work on it?" He asked, following behind me.

"I guess my room?"

"Sureeeee."

As soon as we got into my room there was a knock on the front door. "Just a minute!" I yelled. "I gotta get that."

"I'll come. I want to make a stop by your kitchen because I know Diana likes to stick up on food." It's weird how much his smile lit up at the mention of food.

I trotted down the steps with Gavin at my heels, and I swung open the door at the bottom. "Hi..." I froze when I looked up.

There was Dr. Overly, staring me down, but then he looked over my shoulder to meet the eyes of Gavin.

"You're going to need to come with me." He said.
