You tried to carry on the next day like normal, but continued to feel a growing sickly feeling after realising that you may not be 'okay' with covering up a murder. You continued to try and be casual with your conversations, but you knew that both Ginny and Anthony could tell something was off. Throughout the day, Ginny would elbow you or give you a certain look as if to say "shut up and get on with it" whenever you must've looked too nervous, yet no words were shared about the situation. When school finished, the three of you met up with Mad Maddy and hung out around the Isle until nightfall. When you announced that you were going home early, Ginny and Anthony shared an annoyed look with one another but said nothing.

You climbed onto the top of your house and simply stood there. With no idea what you were feeling or how to cope, you stomped your feet in frustration and threw a piece of broken brick across the street, almost crashing through someone's window. You groaned loudly in anger, having wanted the brick to shatter the window. You fell to your knees, frustrated tears leaping out of your eyes. Why did you feel like this?
Weak. That's what you were. You just had to grow up. After all, the Isle is where you belong. You're an Isle kid. Start acting like it. Just pretend that nothing happened. You did nothing wrong. It's not like you murdered the troll. It's not like you were framing someone else for it. You did nothing wrong, right?
You laid down and stared up at the sky. Right.

Thursday lunchtime. You had been rather quiet the whole day, just like yesterday. You walked towards the graveyard where Ginny and Anthony were stood like usual.

"Hey guys." You greeted them. Anthony looked behind you, as if he were trying to find something in the distance, then looked back at Ginny and nodded his head towards the back of the graveyard.

"Come on," Ginny motioned for you and Anthony to follow her to the far back of the graveyard, where no sign of life was ever shown, which you did. As soon as you got out of earshot and possibly even out of sight of everyone else, Ginny halted.

"You need to chill the fuck out." Anthony told you as soon as you stopped.

"What do you mean?" You asked nonchalantly.

"It's pretty obvious Y/N." Ginny told you.

"We get it, you 'feel guilty' but you really need to toughen up," Anthony said.

"I can't help it!" You argued. "I don't like it but I don't know how to fix it!"

"Shame." Anthony told you in his monotone voice then sighed an annoyed sigh. "As your 'friend' I guess I'm meant to help you."

"Yes! I don't get how you guys can be so calm about it!"

"Ginny, slap her." Anthony ordered, causing Ginny to send a sharp slap across your face. It was like a knife being stabbed into your cheek.

You held your burning cheek and darted your gaze between the two of them. "What the fuck?"

"Feel better yet?" Asked Anthony.

"My face hurts now," you told him, "why did that happen?"

"It's how you learn," Anthony explained, "want another one?"

"No." You said. Ginny slapped you once again, this time on the other cheek. "I said no!"

"Then stop feeling guilty, it makes you look pathetic." Anthony claimed.

"It's not very pretty." Ginny agreed.

"Do you guys just not care that-"

"Do you think you belong on the Isle?" Anthony interrupted you.
