Trigger warning just in case:
Kinda brief but graphic description of violent injuries (only in one paragraph)Crash!
You launched a rock onto Ginny's balcony. It was early in the morning, so you weren't really expecting her to be awake yet. Mother Gothel stormed outside on the balcony to yell at the perpetrator.
"Hey!" You shouted and waved at her. "Is Ginny awake?"
She looked you up and down moodily, clearly having only just woken up. "I'll check, but I don't intend on awaking her from her well needed beauty sleep." She told you before spinning back around to go inside. Before she re-entered her home, she spoke to you over her shoulder. "You're lucky that rock didn't damage my lovely home."
You sat on the side of the street and waited for about five minutes for Ginny to come out. She was fixing up her makeup in her hand mirror as she approached you with the same moody look on her face as her mother.
"What are you making me get up so early for?" She complained.
"I'm sure you were already awake, hell you probably never went to sleep," you laughed, "I can tell by the bags under your eyes."
"The what!" Ginny gasped, poking around underneath her eyes.
"I'm joking," you rolled your eyes.
"It's not funny." She crossed her arms. "Why are you here?"
"Tough sleep?" You raised an eyebrow. She looked at you in annoyance. "I just wanted to hang out." You held your hands up defensively.
"Okay," she huffed, "let's go."
You both began to walk together, neither of you really sure of where to go. You told Ginny about what happened during your game of strip poker with Harry the prior day. While she didn't find it very shocking, she found the story entertaining. You then told her about what happened with Dizzy and Evie after he left.
"I'm really starting to doubt why those Auradons are here," Ginny told you, "I don't think dog boy was telling the truth yesterday."
"Then why would they be here?"
"Don't know," she shrugged, "maybe assessment. Checking out what kids to send to Auradon next. Checking out what aspect of the Isle King Ben plans to shut down and ruin next. If there really was this magic fucking rock going around, how would we not have heard of it?"
"That's a good point." You nodded your head. "That is a weird group of people to send though. There's no reason for them to get two princesses to invite our home."
"Exactly!" Ginny sighed and kicked a stone on the ground. "Do you think we'll end up in Auradon?"
"No way," you immediately told her, "I'm not going back there. If they ask us, we'll just say no."
"What if we don't get the option? That king said that every single villain kid will come to Auradon. That doesn't sound like he's planning on taking no for an answer."
"But... I mean he can't just take us away from our families and our homes!"
"Sounds like a solid plan," Ginny noted, "for a villain."
"He wouldn't do it," you shook your head, "he's meant to be a 'hero'. They don't do that kind of thing."
"That's a lot of hope to have in a person."
"It's what he claims to be."
"People lie. You know that."
"People here lie. People there are meant to be honest do-gooder prudes."
