Chapter 30

"Good job everyone!" Ben congratulated as he led the group out of the cave. You and Jay were sat on a rock, tending to Randy's wounds. Ginny was sat atop the cave with her feet dangling from the edge, inspecting and fixing up her appearance using the blade of a knife as a mirror. Harry, Uma and Gil had went off somewhere behind the cave to smooth things over, after Harry and Uma engaged in a fist fight of course. Anthony was leaning against the side of the cave. "What happened?" Ben rushed over to check on Randy.

"Attacked by a tree." You explained nonchalantly. 

"He looks really rough," Anxelin visually inspected him.

"Didn't you try and call it off him?" Ben turned to look at Anthony, who was just finished receiving a celebratory hug from Bethany. 

"I didn't notice until after it turned into a normal tree again." He shrugged.

"You were stood watching it beat him." Jay protested, having stood up and joined everyone else. 

"No I wasn't." Anthony denied. "I wasn't even near the tree until Y/N and Ginny brought me over, that's when you came over." He lied.

"It's true," Ginny joined in, "we did the best we could to help, so don't shout at us."

"Where's the pirates?" Chad changed the subject, noting Uma, Harry and Gil's absence. 

"They're sorting out a fight." You informed everyone.

"What happened?" Mal asked.

"Well Uma and Y/N were fighting over Hook, then Uma told everyone-" Jay started, but was interrupted by you.

"It's not important," you claimed, "let's just get them and get back to the ship."

"Where did they go?" Ben asked. You pointed in their direction. He brought Mal and Jay with him to retrieve them whilst everybody got ready to go back to the boat.

"Fuck," Randy exclaimed, finally waking up, "my face hurts."

"What's the last thing you remember?" You questioned him. 

"Uh..." You helped him sit up properly. "I remember...a tree and..." His eyes widened when he made eye contact with Anthony, whom was talking to Bethany. "Him. He tried to kill me...Why would he do that?" Anthony noticed and ended his conversation with Bethany before waltzing over to you and Randy. "You're evil." Randy accused him.

"No shit," he bent down to meet Randy's eyes and placed his hands on his thighs, "and I want you to remember that I let you live today, because if you ever come near me ever again, you may not be so lucky." He stood up and lightly slapped him. "That's a promise big boy."

"So everything's fine now?" You asked Harry on the way back to the ship. When he and the others returned, they seemed to be completely fine with one another. In fact, Uma didn't even give you a dirty look. 

"Aye," he put an arm around you, "sorted her out."

"Of course you did." You told him sarcastically before laughing and kissing him.

"So did your pal actually tell you what happened between us?"

"Yeah..."

"It was way before I met you," Harry assured you, "there's no way that would've happened with someone like you in the picture."

"How did it happen though? I imagine you initiated it, but I'm surprised he would've went along with it."

"Actually, he started it."
