I feel sick as I spin round-and-round in my chair. True it may be from the rotations, but really, it feels more emotional. How could she...? As if she realizes I'm thinking about her, Autumn glances over at me with her empty stare. That jerk. It hurts to know how she feels about me. I've always known that the other club members hated me, but never like this. Never such hatred.

After Logan and Rory had left, the tension had fizzled out. Hippolyta had walked away, just abandoning the situation. Just like when we were kids. And she acts like I never do anything. She can't even stand her ground. Autumn had finally gotten up and walked by, her blank eyes giving me the once over. "You know none of them want you around. They never have they never will. As soon as we get another club member your out. Just like we've always wanted." Her voice displayed no emotion, which had been the most painful part of all.

I wish I could tell Hippolyta, but I know she won't take my side. No one ever takes my side. I glance over at the door to the room, where Logan and Rory had rushed out a few minutes prior. They were lucky to have each other. I wish I had someone like that. I stand, smoothing down my hair, and grab my bookbag.

"Where are you going." I turn to see Hippolyta giving me a worried look as she crosses the room to grab one of the laptops near the back.

"I'm leaving, what does it look like I'm doing," I say as she changes her direction coming over to me. She stops when she reaches me, crossing her arms.

"You can't leave yet, the club meeting isn't over."

"Well Logan and Rory left, so why can't I?" I say, glaring at her. And I thought we'd finally started to get along. She sighs, dropping her arms to her sides.

"Your right, I'm sorry you can go if you want." I try not to smile. Or maybe we can be friends. I give in, smiling at her, before turning to leave. "One thing!" I look back to see her still staring at me. "Thank you! For doing the research."

"No problem." And I walk out of the room. Straight into a panicked Rory.
