Hippolyta

"Lola? Rory? Are you guys alright?" Even as I ask the question, I know they're not. Rory grits his teeth as if to keep from screaming. I slow my breathing, trying to keep calm as Lola jumps up, her eyes squeezed tightly closed. "Nonononononon..." I mutter turning in my chair as Lola paces behind me. I hear a noise behind me, Rory must have gotten up as well.

Suddenly Lola snaps into a perfectly straight, upright position. Then her eyes open. I feel the blood drain from my face. I hear a gasp behind me, probably Logan. Lola's eyes are purple. Not just the iris, the whole thing. The only part not purple is her pupils, which are small and shaking making her look completely crazy.

I spin back around to see Rory, now standing, digging his nails into his face and trembling violently, his eyes still closed.

"Calm down Rory...you're ok." Logan attempts to sooth Rory, his hands held out in front of him. He slowly reaches out, placing a hand on Rory's shoulder causing him to stop shaking almost instantaneously. I hold my breath, waiting to see if he will lash out. Instead, I feel a weight on my shoulder. My blood runs cold and I see Autumn and Keira turn to look at me, their faces twisting into expressions of pure horror. I slowly turn my head.

A smiling, purple-eyed Lola stands behind me, her hand resting on my shoulder. I feel her nails begin to dig into my arm. "Hippolyta..." her voice comes out as a hiss. She pulls my shoulder turning me around to face her. Fight back! Even as I think this I'm paralyzed with fear. Lola leans in close, digging her nails deeper into my arm. I can feel her nails through the fabric of my clothing.

"Shit, shit, shit," I hear Keira's voice coming from far away, echoing inside my skull. Lola's eyes stare into my soul and all I see is purple. Purple. Purple. What a beautiful color. So perfect, so serene. I will let it consume me. I will let it take all of me. I will become the Shadow's servant. I will join them. I will... I feel a sharp pain in the back of my head. Blinking, my vision clears of purple.
